What a great place, I bought my Volkswagen Atlas earlier this year from this dealership and just got my second service done. From sales, customer service, vehicle service, parts department, service manager all of them are great.
I never liked getting my regular service done from a dealership because I always felt they charge you more than you want. But NL Volkswagen have changed my mindset. Both my wife and I are extremely happy everything.

Absolutely terrible service. I regret buying a vw and the dealership has lost my business forever. They wouldn’t even honour the referral fee for me or the person I referred. The service writers seem to make stuff up as they go. The dealership has many people within that have no integrity.

A few months ago I was having issues with my key fob and went in to get a replacement battery for it. The Parts guy seemed very helpful and replaced the battery but with a battery that was not new out of a packet. This seemed odd. I was charged a small fee. A week later it was not working again so took it back in and was told I needed a new key fob. An expensive purchase. I went home and “you tubed” how to change the battery. It was fairly long winded but I did it. No issues since then.

Horrible service, I regret I even visited them, even when I sent them email about bad service they ignored to even say sorry about bad service. I gave them THERE days after purchasing a car to detailed clean up and they couldn't do that like they promised, not even call and say listen we couldn't make it, and when I show up to pick up the car I was waiting for 15 mins and they told me that they literally forget and I gave them another 24 hrs and again, nobody called so I decided to go there and there was guy cleaning and he told me that he is 95% done. Inside was tiny paint marks on hand brake, steering wheel and curbs in cup holders etc. This is not how you serve your "valuable" customers.

Hello, just would like to warn people about the service department and quality of the work I received. I was in for an oil change and was informed I needed to have the toe in on my car adjusted. So I made an appoint to have it done and that is where the fun starts. I told the person checking me in if I needed parts, let me know because this is a primary vehicle, and we could order and I could come back for the work to be done. It all started off ok, toe adjusted and no parts required(which was nice). But once I picked up my car things started to fall apart. As soon as I left the parking lot it had a pull to the left(it drove worse after they did work, than it did before I brought it in). So I brought it back. After much discussion, a manager of some sort came over said my car was in bad shape and they never should have touched it(It is interesting that I actually purchased the car from them less than a year ago). He said he will refund my money and to have a nice day. So I spent a day of my time waiting for a car that did not get fixed, and no plan from the dealer on how to get it fixed, even though the person who refunded my money said she would get the service tech to make a list of the parts now required to do the repairs. Not disappointed my car needed parts, but they did not do a proper repair to begin with and just sent the car out the door, and then did not follow through on list of parts needed for repairs as I was promised. So now I must find another place for repairs, and spend another day waiting for repairs to be completed. Maybe this is just a case of buyer beware.

The service is incredible.
I had my front driver-side redone after I was side-swiped (which was all great) and then there was a bad shake when I drove above 100k. I took it back in and they got it into the shop immediately. It turned out it was just dirt buildup but they cleaned it up, re-balanced the tires, adjusted the alignment, and corrected tire pressure. Oh, and my window had come off the guides (not related to the accident) and they put it back on. All of it for free. These guys stand by their work and really seemed to care.

I always thought Fifth Ave VW is in customer service business.If thats true, you need to seriously overhaul your staff and teach them how to interact with customers. If you are ripping people off business, which I think you are now after my experience, people like Carl (Service Manager) will take you to the top.
If you want to check the record of any place, select lowest rating reviews and check the consistency of all the reviews. Having said that I would urge people to STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.
Do yourself a favor and go to any other VW dealership in Calgary except this. Please dont take your car their for maintenance, these guys are next to thieves if not thieves.
I took my car for inspection on Nov 15, 2017 and now my drivers door doesn't open properly. First of all, my appointment time was 1030 AM and I didn't get my car back until 430 PM for a 45 min appointment. These people dont care about your time.
I talked to their service manager (Carl) and Melissa. Carl told me that they didn't do anything and asked me to prove that door was fine before in Court of Law. Carl also asked me if I made a video of door working fine when I left the car, These people have no respect for themselves or the brand they are representing.
I am huge fan of VW but the kind of irresponsible treatment I got today, I would never go there again.
I have decided that I will take these garbage people to court, will let you guys know about it later.

Don't look for another shop-this is the one if you want a great experience! Call them, you won't be disappointed! They do top notch work from estimating to repair -this team knows the industry and the level of expectation for their work. You won't find better satisfaction around town.
