WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY VOLKSWAGEN ATLAS !
I purchased fist time Volkswagen last year (Nov.2020) Before I always used Jeep (SUV). Last year I want to buy a new car, and I ended up Sherwood Park Volkswagen and purchased 2020 Atlas Cross Sport VIN 1V2MC2CA5LC214265 . Good engineering, good German Made Car but IT HAS A HUGE PROBLEM behind all this efforts. Couple weeks ago I had windshield cracked, (not small all the way from left corner to the right corner) What I did? I call Sherwood Park Volkswagen Part & Service, and they advised me, " We have to order part(windshield from US-for me it was veird ) Anyway they took my credit card number and charged my credit card $493.63 windshield part fee. They said that they ordered now and call me couple minutes later, " Part will be available around Aug.25th or Aug.26th, they can book it for me Aug.27th and replace the windshield" I said yes, please book it, they book it for Aug.27th at 8 am in the morning (basically today), also we booked oil change B service etc. But most important part WINSHIELD REPLACEMENT...... TO BE CONTINUED WHY YOU SHOULD NOT BUY A VOLSWAGEN ATLAS .....
PART 2- When I booked with them They sent an e-mail and confirmed my booking date and time. Aug.27th,2021 and 8 am.
Yesterday at 4.57 pm I received a text message from Sherwood Park VW, and they confirmed my appointment for Aug.27th at 8 am. I went there 7.58 am, and talked with a gentleman (actually it looks like he wasn't happy at all why he is working- my opinion) I explained to him why I'm here, he checked and he said that yes, and he confirmed every details with me. (Windshield Replacement, oil change etc.) I told him I ordered windshield, and he said yes it's here- later on he denied whatever). I left my car over there for all this service, they told me that it will be ready by 5 pm, is it ok for me? I said YES. I left. Around AT 11.39 am I received an e-mail ( also they called me before but I'm busy I did not open my phone) and I called them back. WHAT A SUPRRISE???? They said they don't have WINDSHIELD for my car and they did not replace it windshield! I asked them, "Are you sure? I waited 2 weeks for my order, and finally they put me in, I brought my car, nobody mentioned anything about NO WINSHIELD PART over there" He tried to tell me some stories. I went there, (they wasted all my day). I met their manager (nice gentleman, nice person) but he has no solutions. This is not his fault basically VW SHERWOOD PARK and VW CANADA PROBLEMS! Alberta especially Edmonton, lots of gravel truck on the roads everyday and basically your windshield cracked easily and GUESSS WHAT? If you have VW ATLAS NO WINDSHIELD PART AVAILABLE AND They don't know when it comes?? Basically they put you in very bad situation. I asked them it's a safety issue, can you see that? They see that even their manager took picture of windshield. NO PART AVAILABLE. I told them when parts available, they don't know. You buy car from us but WE DON'T HAVE ANY PARTS, NO WINDSHIELD AVAILABLE! And they don't know when it comes. What Kind of business put their customer in risk? Please see picture of my windshield. If you don't have parts WHY YOU SELL THIS CAR IN CANADA! I need to know and I warn peoples here, don't buy VW ATLAS until they fix this parts issue. I wait their response and I will continue let you know how they handle situation. You can not find windshield after market as well. Basically you are alone, even they don't offer rental car. Funny thinks you pay almost 50K and end of the story you are alone with your car problem, even you paid parts fee upfront).

Was told CV Boot starting to leak it is ripped open seems like the tech put his finger and ripped it . It's leaking grease . A month ago everything was fine now all other issues ? Left message for GM to call , no response .

They're at fault for lending me a vehicle while they fixed mine, now due to an accident they wont answer my calls, they refuse to work with me. Say hello to a lawsuit Norden.

The service is incredible.
I had my front driver-side redone after I was side-swiped (which was all great) and then there was a bad shake when I drove above 100k. I took it back in and they got it into the shop immediately. It turned out it was just dirt buildup but they cleaned it up, re-balanced the tires, adjusted the alignment, and corrected tire pressure. Oh, and my window had come off the guides (not related to the accident) and they put it back on. All of it for free. These guys stand by their work and really seemed to care.

I have been a customer at the service department for many years. arrived at dealership at 4pm on Saturday with a serious issue that makes my car undriveable. Service department was closed so spoke with general manager and arranged to leave car for them to look at on Monday. I asked him to please loan me a car to get through until Monday because I am alone and have no one to call for a ride or help. He said he had no access to service loaners and would not help me. It is so disappointing when someone has the ability to do a kindness but will not. Time for me to find a new brand and dealership. Such a missed opportunity.

Don't look for another shop-this is the one if you want a great experience! Call them, you won't be disappointed! They do top notch work from estimating to repair -this team knows the industry and the level of expectation for their work. You won't find better satisfaction around town.
Lied to - Fiona
A few months ago I was having issues with my key fob and went in to get a replacement battery for it. The Parts guy seemed very helpful and replaced the battery but with a battery that was not new out of a packet. This seemed odd. I was charged a small fee. A week later it was not working again so took it back in and was told I needed a new key fob. An expensive purchase. I went home and “you tubed” how to change the battery. It was fairly long winded but I did it. No issues since then.

Was there yesterday to ask for help finding my block heater cord. Gal would not open the bay door because it let's out all the heat. So she asked me if I bought it new? No I said. From us? No I said. She was now standing with her arms folded in front of her. And I said I also have a recall notice. She said oh that's the shift lever, that's minor no big deal. But didn't want to book me an appointment. I asked is it normal to not have a cord? She said you might have to buy one! This service person was a joke! I don't recommend this Volkswagen service department.
They Just Don't Care - Going To Another Dealership
Apparently their business is doing so well that they recommend ppl to go to Jiffy Lube for any kind of service as they don't have time or staff for smaller issues.
Good Help Is Just So Hard To Find These Days, The Same Can Be Said About This Dealership!
