Initially went to see their Rav4 prime XSE and was told i couldn't test drive it (worth 72k) and told me not to bother with my trade either as Zaher said straight up we will low ball you an offer...Complete couldn't test drive it (worth 72k) and told me not to bother with my trade either as Zaher said straight up we will low ball you an offer...Complete disrespect and disregard and 1 star experience. Wasted time gas and energy after a long day of hard work. Dealt with Mark in the same week who was super honest and super helpful in knowledge and sales. The Sales Managers didnt apologize for last times experience and DEMANDED TO REMOVE THE 1 STAR ⭐ REVIEWS BEFORE NEGOTIATIONS. Usually you apologize , you promise a better experience and you deliver....oh but not them? Maybe racially passive aggressive? Obnoxious perhaps. Whatever it may be i was willing to accept that , thinking how dumb i was accepting that sort of demand. Anyway Mark was the man. He was able to get me the test drive after over 2 hours through negotiations. I Agreed to their numbers separately on another sheet of paper. I saw John help the sales woman another couple with opening up the door of the sales room to help them test drive a showroom vehicle , but mark was left with no help but me while John and Raymond sat down watching me open up the sales show room door to test drive my potential vehicle (again felt humiliated). The bill of sale generated by John and Raymond was off and there were errors and i wanted addressed before i finalize the deal. They insisted finance was to finish the total portion just incase i add packages ( which i know is crap , as you can add and deduct whatever extras scam packages later after bill of sale with finance. All i wanted was bill of sale to reflect the numbers we discussed .) I insisted that the numbers be corrected and John and Raymond didnt like that as finance would have" finalized the deal next day " and his tone voice started to get louder and aggressive which is absolutely not the way to ever talk to a customer EVER. These guys sit behind their desks and twiddle their thumbs and treat you with outright disrespect. Not a word of Sorry heard from John and Raymond. Price gouged marked up vehicle and still disrespect their customer who is willing to pay for it haha. Would have lost sleep knowing those two managers got a cut from my purchase. Now i sleep like a king as i know Toyota is upping their hybrid production and i wont be stepping foot in this stealership ever again. Bottomline : Dont go there. They care about their superficial reviews and want you to remove them with giving them a fake 5 star review which as a man of integrity i shall not step foot into this den of theives. More
I had an excellent experience at Toyota on the Trail, and my sales person Jay was hands down the BEST to work with. From my initial inquiry, I let him know that, up to that point with other dealerships, my car shopping has been an extremely stressful experience, and he put me right at ease with him saying that that’s not the way he approached sales, and he stayed true to his word. This was my first time buying from a dealership, and I was exploring makes and models that I liked best and that would suit my family’s needs. Despite knowing I was shopping around, Jay never once pressured me. If I had a question or specific request, he always went above and beyond to meet those needs. My 3 kids had the opportunity to meet Jay on one of the test drives, and I was very impressed that he greeted them with a handshake and a big smile. During the test drive, he was very relaxed, and said pretend he’s not there, but was happy to respond to any questions I had about the vehicle and it’s features. When I said I was still considering other vehicles and I said I’d be in touch, he impressed me by simply waiting for me to contact him. He was happy to communicate with me via text, as I wasn’t often available for calls during working hours. Finally, when I didn’t quite understand how the math I worked out didn’t match their numbers, he slowed down and took the time to explain and show it to me AND to work with me to get to a number I’d be happy with. I cannot say enough great things about Jay! He is a rare gem, and I have no doubt he is going places because he has client interaction and understanding client needs including motivating factors down to a T. I really enjoyed working with him and will always recommend Jay at Toyota on the Trail to anyone and everyone who asks! Thank you Jay for everything! You understood the exact kind of buying experience I wanted and you delivered!! I also very much enjoyed working with finance manager Alex! She was very personable and made the credit application for financing very easy with a few laughs throughout. More
Thanks SO much Toyota on the trail! !!! The emergency tire repair kit you gave me in my 2017 Dodge caravan that states in BOLD letters on the box that it is only to be used on a Toyota S !!! The emergency tire repair kit you gave me in my 2017 Dodge caravan that states in BOLD letters on the box that it is only to be used on a Toyota Sienna was SO HELPFUL!!! Also, I'm SO happy that I spent $3000 on an extended warranty that I was told included roadside assistance!! It really became apparent how amazing a value that was when I called and was told the only roadside assistance available was a reimbursement of $50 in towing charges!!!!! Me and my 2 year old loved being stuck on the side of the road for hours today in the snow uncovering the mountain of lies you told us UPDATE Since TotT is now taking down my reviews after I didn't back down to their unprofessional and sexist reply - I'm adding to this review! TotT claims that they couldn't help me because there was "too much yelling". There ABSOLUTELY was!! My 2 year old was clearly screaming in distress, my 10 year old special needs child was screaming as well, I was sobbing informing the clueless and useless representative that l'm 8 months pregnant and stuck alone in the snow and when told that I wouldn't get help until I "calmed down"? Oh you bet there was screaming. I was met with absolutely nothing except defensive excuses and confirmation that the 3 grand I dropped on an extended warranty that I was explicitly told included roadside assistance, was useless. Pretty positive that desire TotT's claims, a tire shouldn't blow out on the road 2 1/2 weeks after purchase but, hey, what do I know? I'm just an "emotional" woman! TotT also stated in their now deleted reply that they would've been happy to walk me through a tire swap - implementing one of the greatest examples of modern gaslighting by a company I've ever seen! I was never asking for their assistance to change a tire - I was freaking out being stranded without services I was told I had paid for. Buyer beware - not only is this a company happy to default and mislead their customers, but they're evidently sexist as well Ron Hodgson Chevrolet in St. Albert immediately answered our call, went above and beyond to provide service they certainly had no requirement to do so and were HORRIFIED that a Toyota sienna repair kit had been provided for a Dodge vehicle. I will be referring everyone there in the future and STRONGLY encourage anyone reading this to do the same. It only takes a look at dealer ratings or Yelp (or any other website where they can't just pay to take something down) to see what sort of company this is. More
