Went to this dealership about one year ago, and they did not have what we were looking for. But they were helpful then. Returned to this dealership just because of their disposition with us and we were able not have what we were looking for. But they were helpful then. Returned to this dealership just because of their disposition with us and we were able to talk to the same sales person from the previous year. He is called Hardeep. Luckily for us they had a vehicle that would match our interests and we proceeded to bargain. Bargaining in this day and age is quite demanding, but we were able to come to an agreement. I must say that Hardeep stuck to his agreements that he made with us, even when confronted by the finance minister Jean De Jesus that works for this dealership. Really appreciate this. A man of his word. Surprisingly he still has employment there. What a rock and I must say has a great sense of humor. More
Went to purchase a used car. Found several in my price range. Hardeep was excellent (look for him especially) - very helpful, and worked with me to find the right car. Test drove Found several in my price range. Hardeep was excellent (look for him especially) - very helpful, and worked with me to find the right car. Test drove three cars, but it was the VW Tiguan that was head and shoulders above the other cars of other makes - a great buy, the best car I've had so far. Unfortunately I had an "interesting" experience with financing (hidden costs, and expectations), I chose to finance myself - that was the only sour experience - and I can overlook that for the sake of the car. The sale person was very nice and professional. Something that I cannot say about the financial department. I would compare that with an aggressive marketing. People, if you are ever going to use that dealership, before signing any papers, ask the price you are going to be charged. I got charged around $17000! Yes, 17K for extended warranty. When we figured out the truth, and asked them to cancel all these precious warranties, they cancelled few, but categorically refuse to cancel the rest of them. Looks like I am forced to enjoy the great service! I financial manager was trying to offer my a $500 compensation, to make me feel better, When the total amount of the warranties is over $4000. I am done with that dealership!!! Read the reviews and make up your mind in advance people. More
This dealership has let me down repetitively with the poor level of customer service they continually display. I’ve been to this dealership twice for issues for my vehicle which were both warranty fixes, poor level of customer service they continually display. I’ve been to this dealership twice for issues for my vehicle which were both warranty fixes, however it is clear this dealership doesn’t want the work and doesn’t want to do the service if I’m not a customer paying out of my own pocket. Both times I’ve been in for service it’s been determined that my vehicle ‘doesn’t have enough evidence’ to submit a warranty claim despite having another mechanic shop provide a detailed explanation of what’s wrong. When I went in to discuss my concerns this is the SECOND time the service manager has been ‘unavailable’ where he supposedly can’t be reached by phone, they refuse to page him or provide me his direct number. After leaving a voicemail I still haven’t heard back over 2 full business days later while my vehicle was in service. Additionally, I was told my vehicle would be washed at the end of the service inspection. Instead of washing my vehicle, they sprayed my doors jams out and immediately parked it outside in -20 so that when I picked it up, which was less than 10 minutes after the service department had closed, I arrived to find all my doors frozen shut. It was conveniently the ONLY unwashed vehicle at service as well, despite after informing me this morning that washing it is a standard practice in their services and inspections. At this point, it is clear I cannot, and will not, rely on this dealership to keep my vehicle in good condition, let alone in safe driving condition, as they refuse to acknowledge warranty issues as well as fixing them. I highly recommend avoiding the toss around between service advisors and suggest anyone take their vehicle anywhere else. More
Well, now that I have owned the vehicle for 15 days. It’s a dream to drive however, The dealerships mechanical assessment is wrong. They say they checked the windshield wipers, well, that’s not true. It’s a dream to drive however, The dealerships mechanical assessment is wrong. They say they checked the windshield wipers, well, that’s not true. The wipers are torn. Then they reassured me that the vehicle was not smoked in. I remember asking them about it. They lied. It was smoked in. Both keys needed new batteries for the remote start. (not too big of a deal, but, that is something that should be checked. It’s part of the vehicle. I am very dissatisfied with Sherwood park Volkswagen dealership. More
After "striking out" with the (seemingly uninterested) Calgary VW dealers, we looked North and found the the Sherwood Park VW website. After a quick review we entered the Chat Site and ultimately receive Calgary VW dealers, we looked North and found the the Sherwood Park VW website. After a quick review we entered the Chat Site and ultimately received a telephone call from Landon Smits. The dealership did NOT have exactly what we were looking for, but he suggested several available alternatives -- sending photos to us via email and text. It quickly became clear that he wanted to earn our business and was willing to spend the time to find us a vehicle (a situation not encountered with the Calgary Dealers). We finally settled on a 2022 Tiguan -- reached a mutually satisfactory "deal" and provided a deposit and time frame to pick up the vehicle. On reaching the dealership we were welcomed, discussed final details and eventually drove the vehicle back to Calgary. We were impressed with the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the Dealership. Financial details were dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were on our way. We' highly recommend Sherwood Park VW to others -- ask for Landon Smits -- you will be impressed with his willingness to get you the vehicle and the deal you want. More

My wife and I live outside of Sherwood Park. We had been shopping for a new vehicle, and on one of our trips in stopped at Sherwood Park VW and test drove a new Tiguan. After the test drive, we We had been shopping for a new vehicle, and on one of our trips in stopped at Sherwood Park VW and test drove a new Tiguan. After the test drive, we had discussions with the sales staff regarding trade in value, forced financing (dealership will not do cash deals), etc. Still undecided, we left. After several days, we decided to proceed with the purchase of a new VW Tiguan Highline, and phoned Sherwood Park VW. Over the phone we confirmed trade in value of our present vehicle and negotiated an all in price for the purchase of the Tiguan. As they did not have the color we wanted, we put down a deposit and were told it would be a four to six week wait. Unfortunately, to our future dismay, we did not ask for written confirmation of the terms of our deal, nor did we sign any offer sheet. All we had was a verbal agreement over the phone. After four weeks our Tiguan was in and we made an appointment to pick it up. Upon arrival to Sherwood Park VW, we inspected it and were satisfied with what we saw. Our salesman explained a few of the functions, and we were handed the keys. Then it was off to do the paperwork. To our surprise, the price on the sales agreement was substantially higher than what we had agreed upon. This was pointed out to the sales staff......and then the fun began! Long story short, Sherwood Park VW sales claimed they had no paperwork for the deal we had previously negotiated and refused to honor it. They would not budge on the price they demanded. After several fruitless hours of back and forth, including talking to whom we assumed was the GM, we handed back the keys to the Tiguan, got our deposit back, and left in the vehicle we arrived in. No attempt was made to stop us and find a compromise solution. So that's our sorry tale of trying to purchase a new VW. Shame on you Sherwood Park VW for wasting our time and trying to pull a fast one on us! Zero out of five stars for you! We won't be back. More
