Competence and customer focus were non-existent in my experience. Sales Specialist was excellent and pleasant to deal with. Asked a few questions and went straight fort the car he knew I would like. He also offered good options and recommendations which was great. However, everything after that went south. Finance Manager and Sales Manager proved that the used car sales stereotype of a dishonest business has not changed in over 20 years. I was given an inconsistent story and a shoulder shrug when questioned additional charges on the bill. Walked away feeling ripped off. Person that took me to the car nearly damaged the car installing a new licence plate. I had to point out, luckily in time, that he is cross-threading bolts that are way too long to start with - seriously? Car was also damaged during the final detail and no one could be bothered to address it. There is a large scratch down to the metal on the fender and on the bumper. I have pictures showing the car after test drive (no damage) and after pickup (damaged) clearly framing the time when the damage was done. Unfortunately, I received no acknowledgment of this from the Sales Manager. No thanks to Sherwood Park Volkswagen for an unpleasant car buying experience. Will not return even though it is very conveniently located. More

Be careful of the hidden fees. They have a hidden fee of $599 at time of purchase which they claim is mandatory and non-negotiable for a security insurance transfer. Great and Friendly Sales Experience I recently purchased a used Golf R from Sherwood Park Volkswagen. I was coming from out of town, and from the first interaction with Mike or Ameer, th I recently purchased a used Golf R from Sherwood Park Volkswagen. I was coming from out of town, and from the first interaction with Mike or Ameer, they were extremely friendly and answered all my questions and addressed all my inquiries. When it was time to strike a deal, there was no meaningless sales “up sell technique”, just straight forward to the point. Deal was made over the phone. Mike was great to deal with. I drove up a week later, and picked up the car, and interacting with everyone at this dealership was truly a great experience. You can tell when everyone is happy at their job, everyone was all smiles and extremely friendly. Ahmed “Ray” went above and beyond for the car delivery, truly great customer service. Edad in finance was great to deal with, very friendly and courteous. Overall a 5 star experience!!! More

Over the top pressure They pressured my son into buying extensive warranty coverage on a used car that he would have to drive 4 hours to have honored. A real rip off. They also made it difficult to cancel this overpriced warranty with all kinds of loop holes and not transferable to another dealer. I guess they are ok with having a customer for only one deal... cause we will never buy anything from this dealership. To bad because the product is good- the salesman was just a bottom feeder. More
