This is because if I used my real NAME there would be concerns I and my Family do not wish to deal with! Sorry, I don't think the issue can be resolved. Back in Jan 2023 I brought a vehicle in that I had just bought, and like always I like to have a vehicle service and a tech take a quick look over under the vehicle for me. I have used Sherwood Chev for many years as well as my adult Children because we have always been treated very well and with respect, because we have family that works at or worked at your location for many years. I was very disappointed in the treatment I received and some of the rude comments I overheard from the staff regarding my Chevy vehicle. I paid for my service and left, very upset. A few days later I receive a "Survey Request" So I fill it with my concerns about my visit that it helps improve customer service by avoiding what happen with me. I trusted the survey was a private matter between me and Sherwood Chev Management team, not me and everyone that works at your location. What I wrote in my survey ended up in the Family members ears when they worked there, then the entire service and mechanics shop knew about my survey. The Family member has since left Sherwood Chev, because of that survey our family has fallen out and fighting, and no longer speaking because the person who read the survey could not remember about privacy and the privacy act, and had to tell everyone else because that person knew who I was related to at Sherwood Chev and since I had been coming there for many years. Then I waited about 2 months to bring in my wife's SUV and hoping the survey issue was over with and it will be service with a smile as always. April came out to speak with me and she knew right away that I was the one that wrote the survey, because there was no friendly smile, just straight cold questions and walked away. I should have driven away and gone elsewhere because I felt very uncomfortable, but I waited. I felt so bad I apologized to April and explained the survey had nothing to do with her and I would never give you a poor review. April spoke a few words to me that I will keep to myself, but April has always treated me very well, and I trusted her very much with my vehicle. She explained that survey reflected back on her, so now I feel even worse, I pull my vehicle in and go stand out in the cold to wait, because I was so embarrassed and upset that I waited outside by myself, then paid my bill and left. Then around Oct 16 2023, I am due for Oil Change so I think about it for a few days, and then brought it in for the service. To make the last part short, I was told everything was okay but I had a minor oil leak and a coolant leak. I asked if they had any idea of where it may be leaking, the reply was if you want to know book it in for an inspection as they walked away. I am there in shock, I am at a dealership and that's the answer. The cold unfriendly atmosphere and treatment has me now seeking a trustworthy shop for my 3 vehicles, to one I just spent $1800.00 on for repairs at Robin's Auto in Sherwood Park that would have come to Sherwood Chev. When a Customer fills in a Survey for a business, or provides a review that information is between the customer and the Management and is to be treated with respect if it's good or bad. The damage that was done to my Family, and continues till this day has left everlasting scars. The Employee that took it upon them to share the comments of my survey, to the other staff in service and the shop has no idea of the problems this caused our family because we had family working there at the time. We lost trust in a Dealership that we have dealt with, for many years because of one visit for service, and a simple but private survey. I am truly sorry that Sherwood Chev Management felt it was okay to share and talk about my survey. I am sure this will be shared also, we still have a friend who works there so, I am sure she will hear about it and let me know. Can you recommend a Chevy Dealership that is not affiliated to or with Sherwood Chev, Sherwood Buick GMC or Lakewood Chev? I still would like to have my vehicle service done with Chevy.
