Beware of Red Deer Toyota Service Department Took my Camry in for winter tire change, got a phone call from service department for estimated $3000. front end repairs. Refused repairs and took the car to my independent, very thorough, mechanic. No repairs “required”! Apparently this phone call has been received by others! Get a second opinion!!! More
Over and above receptionist I had a booking to get new winter tires put on my vehicle. Rude Salesperson! I went in to the dealership as I loved the look of a truck on the lot. I wanted to take a closer look and take it for a test drive. After which I wo I went in to the dealership as I loved the look of a truck on the lot. I wanted to take a closer look and take it for a test drive. After which I would decide if I wanted to trade in my current vehicle. I told the sales person Stephen multiple times that I just wanted to see the vehicle. He wanted all the details on my vehicle for trade and what I wanted for payments and terms. I did not want to give him this information without first SEEING the xxxx vehicle! He did not know what we owed on our current vehicle OR what we would be putting as a down payment on this truck. He NEVER did bring the truck around for us to take a closer look at. He came back in and told me that I would be in a negative equity position on my current vehicle and that the payments would be over $500 bi-weekly and skeptically asked if I thought that was too much. If I THOUGHT I could "handle" those payments he would bring the truck around for me to see, but "he did not want to waste my time if I thought those payments were too high". I left never having seen the vehicle. He lost a sale as I could have paid in full in cash had I wanted to. NEVER ASSUME!!!! More
