While I would recommend the dealership, I unfortunately cannot say that I would recommend the staff with whom I worked. They were friendly and approachable, especially during the purchasing phase, yet cust cannot say that I would recommend the staff with whom I worked. They were friendly and approachable, especially during the purchasing phase, yet customer service decreased once the vehicle was purchased (and waiting for possession). As a first-time car buyer, I appreciated Michael and Keith’s commitment during the buying process. They were very responsive, patient, and considerate, both in person and via email. Unfortunately, once the car was purchased (within minutes), my experience was less than to be desired. My meeting with Emad (finances) was quite unprofessional (i.e., when I mentioned my salary, his response was “wow…that’s cool, nicely done”) and somewhat sarcastic (crossing the line between professional and friendly). He tried selling various insurance plans, which I was not ready to commit to. I told him I needed more information and time to see if these plans were in my best interest. He was to follow-up. … I was told it could take between four to six weeks for the car to arrive (because of type, model, colour, etc). Six weeks later, I inquired with Keith as to the status of the car and I was told that the car had come in but to contact Michael to make arrangements. Long story short, the car was on their lot for seven days before I had it my possession. Because financial matters hadn’t been finalized (since Emad hadn’t followed-up) and Michael was slow in providing the information required, the process was at a standstill. I ended up contacting Keith and another manager to figure out what needed to be done after many unsuccessful attempts. Disappointed, I told Keith he should reconsider his customer service praise (in his selling spiel) given the lack of communication and consideration. When Emad called to apologize, as a courtesy act, he offered me various insurances packages at-cost. I was astounded that a courtesy act was actually a tactic to gain more money from the customer (i.e., “we’re sorry, so we offer you this, you now owe $1000??). Keith eventually followed-up, apologized, and offered a ‘real’ courtesy gesture. While the car was ready at pick-up, the financial contract was not. It contained errors, which in writing, would entail me paying more than what was agreed. Both Emad and Michael tried to convince me that it didn’t matter and I could sign it anyways. Really??? It’s a binding contract!!! The contract was thus modified accordingly. Nevertheless, despite this, I would go back to Pathway. Overall, staff was friendly and approachable and I have heard great things about the dealership. I consider my situation as an unfortunate mishap, but would be much more cautious throughout the entire process (from browsing to purchasing to financing to getting the vehicle). I’ve had my Tuscon for a few months now and I enjoy driving it. I’m definitely happy with my selection! More
Stephane & Frank make purchasing a vehicle a fun experience. I got a few prices to compare and Pathway blew the competition OUT OF THE WATER. I can't beleive what a deal I got. This is our 4th Hyundai and this dealer is amazing. No pressure, friendly service with a smile. Stéphane went out of his way to help us as we needed the new vehicle to go to Montreal and it wouldn't be pressure, friendly service with a smile. Stéphane went out of his way to help us as we needed the new vehicle to go to Montreal and it wouldn't be in by that date so he lent us a similar model to try out over the weekend which convinced us we had made the right decision to go with the Veracruze. Paper work went smoothly, no hassle with financing, car ready on time and Stéphane even set up my Blue Tooth in the car. Such a nice individual, we will definitely recommend him to our friends and family for the excellent customer service he provided us. More

We were very happy with the service provided. The sales person was very friendly, knowledgable, but did not unduly push us, or rush us into making a decision. Customer service was excellent and we did not feel pressure to buy immediately which has been our experience in other dealerships. We first contacted the Pathway dealership through the Hyundai web-site. Jenna responded very promptly. We met her to see the Elantra and go for a test drive. This was my first time buying a car so I was a bit apprehensive. But I was lucky because I dealt with Derek and he made me feel comfortable right away. I was expecting to be pressured and rushed but this wasn't the case. He is very friendly and made me feel at ease. He made me feel like I was important and not just some other customer. He was also very patient (and car salesmen should be!) with all my questions and I had a lot! I never felt like he was rolling his eyes or running out of patience. We bought a used car from Pathway Hyundai, and we drove in from Toronto to get it. They really pulled out all the stops to make things happen quickly, called them Friday, during the day, and they had it in from Toronto to get it. I was a little apprehensive about making a deal sight unseen over the phone. I wanted to make sure the vehicle was as expected when we showed up. It was better than expected, and the service was great. Super happy with the whole process totally worth the drive to Ottawa. Price was great, that was the reason we made the trip. Well super happy with everything once somebody returned my calls. They almost lost the sale initially, as we first spoke to Derek Kilburn a couple weeks earlier. I contact him several times by e-mail and phone, but he would not return my calls. We ended up dealing with Ron, and Paul Gordon, and both of them were great. They would get a full 5 out of 5 in all categories, if not for the initial dealings with Derek. Thanks again. More
