Instead, the focus kept being on slightly beating another dealer’s payment rather than actually improving the structure of the deal. One of the most frustrating parts was how the refund on my existing Hyundai Protection Plan / warranty was presented. The impression I was given was that I would need to purchase a new, more expensive warranty product in order to properly make the refund work within the deal. After comparing elsewhere, another Hyundai dealer was able to handle the exact same situation much more transparently and simply by structuring the deal properly and offering a lower-cost option instead of pushing a more expensive product. That made it hard to trust that the advice I was being given was actually in my best financial interest. In the end, another Hyundai dealer was able to reduce my total financed amount by roughly $5,000 to $6,000 while also keeping the deal much cleaner and more transparent. That showed me that what I had asked for was possible all along. As a returning customer, that was frustrating to realize. My advice to others: do not focus only on the payment. Always ask for: • total amount financed • interest rate • full breakdown of add-ons • what is actually optional • how refunds, warranties, and credits are actually being applied A good dealership should help customers understand the full financial picture, not just sell a payment More

Immediately upon arrival, I was told another customer was interested in buying the vehicle. Since this was my first time driving this model, I insisted on a test drive before making any decisions. Before my test drive, I offered to have my driver’s license verified or copied, but the sales representative declined. While I hold a valid license, I am concerned that allowing a test drive without verifying a license does not follow standard safety and insurance procedures, and could pose a liability risk. I then drove the vehicle through a mix of highways, arterial roads, and residential streets in rainy conditions to properly evaluate the vehicle’s performance. I also throughly inspected the exterior and undercarriage, as well as testing the vehicle’s tech features. During the drive, I received a text from the sale’s rep saying “car just sold”. From the time I received the text until I returned the car and left, the sales rep did not show or offer any other vehicles. After investing over two hours of travel time, I walked out feeling disrespected and dismissed. After I left, the sales rep texted about the length of my test drive, which I interpreted as annoyance. While selling to the first signing customer is legal, the subsequent behavior of the dealership, in my opinion, was unprofessional. Despite the sales rep claiming 15 years of experience, in my opinion, the handling of this interaction fell far short of the integrity, tact, and judgment one would expect. If you value transparency, internal dealership communication, and respect, I strongly caution against doing business with this dealership. More
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership. During the sales process, I was verbally promised that new brakes would be included with the vehicle. Unfortunately, that promise was not honored after the purchase. When I attempted to address the issue and find a reasonable solution, I was met with rudeness and was told that I was lying. Instead of working toward a fair compromise, the staff were unwilling to take responsibility or even have a constructive conversation. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but professionalism and customer service should always come first. Being dismissed and accused rather than heard was very disappointing. I would encourage anyone considering this dealership to ensure that all promises are clearly documented in writing before moving forward. Or better, stay as far away from this dealership as possible. I recently bought a brand-new car from this dealership and was promised a free first oil change as part of the deal. Even though the dealership is an hour away from where I live, I made the trip specifica and was promised a free first oil change as part of the deal. When I arrived, I was suddenly told the service wouldn’t be free. I reminded the staff member in the garage about the original promise, and he didn’t argue with me, which made me assume they would honour it. Instead, after the service was completed, I was charged the full price. This experience was extremely disappointing. I drove an hour expecting the dealership to stand by its word, and they simply did not. Be cautious… they failed to honour their own promise, and I would not want others to go through the same frustration. More

First visited Pathway 6 months before purchasing a vehicle. Ahead of vehicle coming in that met our needs we were contacted to let us know and provided us with photos. My brakes were still in excellent condition. - confirmed by another (more trustworthy) Hyundai dealer. Horrible customer service also from the sales team. They never ever return a phone call (even confirmed by sales reps from other dealerships). And when you show up in person not to purchase a car from them, you receive the worst attitude. They have no time for you. A bunch of dishonest, incompetent people. More
