It’s a consistent 6 days to get your vehicle booked in, even when you can’t drive your vehicle. The service girl told me to go to Cochrane instead and gave me incorrect information that their dealership is 10 mins from Crowfoot. The way the dealership books the appointments makes you leave your car there for the whole day- that is really inconvenient especially after waiting for 6 days to get in. They also lost or misplaced the part that I had on order, so I had to get it reordered. This whole experience was really time consuming, very frustrating, and solidified my distaste of Ford products. The competing dealerships in the Crowfoot area have lower labour rates, take actual service appointment times and a guaranteed pickup time. I bought my Edge from this dealership, and had previously serviced my Focus there years ago. I won’t be back after years of inconsistency and having paid too much money to be treated with such disrespect. More

Fixed the sunglasses holder Dropped m6 truck off for a quick fix on my sunglasses holder. The part had come in. Scheduled appointment was 7 am . I was up so dropped it off by 6. At 7:45 I enquirer about my truck that I could see hadn’t come in bays yet. The gal at the front wen5 and talked to someone and by 8:15 truck was done. When I booked the appointment I was told it would be very quick 15-20 minutes. A little disappointed in having to wait so long. The service ladies were very courteous ! More

New F150 - Microphone not working on delivery date. My new F150 was delivered to me with the microphone not working from the get-go. I took it in to service centre on Mon Jul 9 and they were not able to My new F150 was delivered to me with the microphone not working from the get-go. I took it in to service centre on Mon Jul 9 and they were not able to diagnose the problem. They sent an email to Ford and I had to bring the vehicle in again on Thu Jul 12 to perform a "Pinpoint Test", I believe. Fortunately the problem was resolved on the second visit by replacing the microphone. My view is as follows: 1. Being a new vehicle the problem should have been detected by the Northstar during PDI. 2. Surely a Pinpoint Test should be a standard protocol and vital element of the diagnostic process and should not be necessary to refer the problem to Ford. 3. In my view, logically there could only be 3 main problem areas: Hardware, Software or Connectivity. I'd expect the hardware and connectivity to be relatively easy to test and instinctively I would have started off by testing the microphone because that was were the symptom presented, being totally unresponsive. The problem was also common to the phone and navigation systems. The service consultants that I dealt with were very polite, pleasant and professional. More

Not organized I had a new windshield installed at this location. When I took my truck into another location to get an oil change I had them look at a piece of cowli I had a new windshield installed at this location. When I took my truck into another location to get an oil change I had them look at a piece of cowling that had popped up. The dealership said they couldn't fix it because it was broken during the installation of my windshield, but I should take it back to where windshield was installed to have it fixed (Northstar ford) When I returned to this northstar ford the said they would cover it under warranty, but part needed to be ordered. After two weeks they called to say part had arrived and to book the appointment (which I did). I got another call a week or so later giving same info a d asking to book an appointment (to which I stated o already had). Later on, I had to change the appointment date to two days after the original appointment. To my surprise I got an email reminder for the original date of appointment. I called to confirm that this was an error and that I was still booked in for my actual appointment. They said yes, but then I got a call after the date of the original appointment saying that I had missed my appointment. By this point I was getting quite frustrated telling them I had cancelled and moved that appointment. They once again confirmed that I had an appointment the next day (as planned). They are very scattered at this location. Nothing seems to get done right the first time. Only positive is that their mistake was fixed, and person who inputted that i had dropped off my truck was efficient and kind. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. More
