Really bad service The people don't lessen, they push for work not need it and not friendly at all, I told the attendant to not lock the door because the key doesn't wo The people don't lessen, they push for work not need it and not friendly at all, I told the attendant to not lock the door because the key doesn't work, he didn't lessen and lock the doors and when he told me about it, I said, I told you no to lock it, He got mad at me and told me that he will get it open but it will charge me over $100 for that, I told him to forget it, I call AMA and in no time they open it and no charge, by this time I had waited over 3 hours since I dropped my van and nothing got done but I got an ear full of abuse by that guy, so now I have to take my business elsewhere because I don't trust your service people, he was ruth and useless. Not even an apology. Not a good way to earn business. Thanks for nothing. More

$1200 Brake Job I took my Ford Edge in for service to Northstar Ford for an engine service and to get a couple of things looked at. There was a problem with the Gear I took my Ford Edge in for service to Northstar Ford for an engine service and to get a couple of things looked at. There was a problem with the Gear Shift Lever and the brakes. They checked things out and I was told that a brake caliper had seized and needed to be replaced. No problem, right? I had bought the Extended Warranty to cover things like this and thought it would be no problem. Was I ever wrong. First, the Caliper itself was covered, but not fully. The "Warranty" covered $100 of the $200 part (after deductible) and $50 worth of labour. That was it. The rotor and brake pads ruined by the defective part were MY responsibility. To the tune of $650. For ONE brake. Not a full set, ONE. They also did my front brakes under the maintenance package, but charged me $200 labour and shop supplies for something that was supposed to be covered by a prepaid package that I had bought with my car. This was also after they had handed me an estimate for $850 to do the brake, front pads and Gear Shift Lever. But it was just "an estimate" so I was on the hook for the entire bill. After fighting with them and Cam Clark Ford over the "Warranty" I went the next day to pick my vehicle up. I walked right by Scott, the service rep that I was dealing with, he barely looked at me. Didn't explain any of the bill, nothing. The service desk couldn't find the paperwork so Scott came in, found the paperwork and scurried away after making a stupid joke about how it was filed under my first name, not my last name. Still no explanation of the charges or why any of my bill was so high. I won't be back there again after this last time, I will go somewhere else. After a three-year relationship and service history, Northstar Ford won't be getting any more of my business. All their service reps care about is passing the buck. Nothing is their fault and they only "administer the contracts". They don't seem to care about customer service or their customers, just making the dealership all the money they can. With as high a turnover rate that I have seen there, is it any wonder that no one can build a relationship or get anywhere with this dealership? This experience has made me rethink ever buying Ford again. I know that all of the big dealers will be the same, but it is my money and Ford won't be getting any more of it. I will take my business elsewhere and recommend that my friends do so as well. More
Excellent service Check in was easy and fast. Got an email with the completed work order which is a new touch which is excellent. Also got a call from Brittany letting Check in was easy and fast.
