My vehicle was assessed and the mechanical problem accurately diagnosed within a reasonable timeframe, which I was then informed about and all necessary repairs and costs involved were clearly explained. Any other minor issues not needing immediate attention were also brought to my attention and left for my discretion to be followed up with later if I so choose. At no time did I feel pressured or mislead into paying for non-essential repairs...which is reassuring when having an older vehicle (2007 Fusion) repaired at a dealership. My previous service I had received at this location prior was also very positive, so I’m confident that my experience here isn’t unique. I would therefore certainly recommend Northstar Ford to others for their auto service/repairs, and I’ll strongly consider buying my next Ford at this dealership. More
Safety Recall service unsolved and frustrating On beginning of 2018 I had a letter from Ford related to an Airbags recall on Ford Fusions 2006 models. On March-27-2018 I went for regular service On beginning of 2018 I had a letter from Ford related to an Airbags recall on Ford Fusions 2006 models. On March-27-2018 I went for regular service at Northstar (Service advisor Liane Asquin) and mentioned about this recall. She took note and told me that parts were not available at that location and they will order it and call me to schedule an appointment for the replacement.... never got a call. On Sep-28-2018 I went for regular service again at Northstar (Service advisor Cassandra Walker) and mentioned again about the recall for the Airbags. She checked and mentioned that they were going to order the parts and schedule an appointment. Later on October I got the call mentioning the parts were coming and we schedule the Recall service appointment for November Saturday Nov-03-2018. On Nov-03-2018 I dropped my car at Northstar at 9am and got a call at 10am mentioning that the parts that were ordered were wrong and Ford couldn't do the repair. Cassandra was going to re-order the right parts again to re-schedule the service. Later on November I got the call mentioning that right parts were in Northstar and we re-schedule the appointment for Saturday Dec-01-2018. Today, December 01-2018 I dropped my car again at 8:30 am and got a call back at 9:30am to say that the reordered parts were wrong again. Really? Second time for a recall service and the parts were not right? My car model it is still the same... To be honest, if this is the way a Ford Service is treating a Safety Recall, then I have serious concerns about how Ford treats costumer safety. It is not professional to make mistakes twice, waisting a person's time and not solving a Safety Recall after practically 9 months! I was happy with regular services (oil, filter, tires changes), but this time I have serious concerns on how Ford put costumer Safety first. In any case, I didn't get a commitment from the service department on how this issue will be resolved and the only thing it was mentioned is that the parts for my vehicle model are not available. When and how this Recall will be effectively resolved? I'm still waiting for answers and it is becoming frustrating... More

I lost my trust in Ford dearlerships. Until my dealings at NorthStar dealer ship the women taking care of me went away out of her way to please me the first time so yesterday I went back a Until my dealings at NorthStar dealer ship the women taking care of me went away out of her way to please me the first time so yesterday I went back and dealt with her again and gave me hope for maybe buying another Ford one day once they get rid of there DEF xxxxxxxx. Nothing but trouble with my Ford 550 since new and it was a hundred thousand dollars set up with plow and sander all supplied new from Ford. More
