Quick and painless maintenance work Took my vehicle in concerned about a worn wheel bearing. The next morning, the shop confirmed that the left wheel bearing was worn and they had the repair completed before the end of the day. I've always had a 5-star experience at NorthStar and overall I still feel NorthStar delivers 5-star service. I only downgraded this maintenance experience to 4-star (I would give 4.5-stars if I could) because I was told the repairs were not covered under warranty so after my own investigation of my warranty coverage, I contacted Cassandra to discuss my confusion. I gave Cassandra 5-stars: She was courteous, solicitous, and quickly noticed something was not right. Within 15 minutes, Cassandra called back to tell me that the wrong part # was entered that flagged the non-warranty coverage and that the work would be covered under my warranty. I don't believe NorthStar is in the business of ripping customers off, but mistakes do happen and this mistake was quickly fixed with no questions asked. As a customer, don't be afraid to ask questions. More

I brought it in to have the diagnostic done .... they quoted me $700, told me that I needed to have several items replaced (an ignition coil replaced, boots and spark plug). Not to mention the $200 for a diagnostic which came with $30 in shop fees (they don't use consumable items to run these tests, they simply plug the vehicle into a machine) I chose to have the work done elsewhere, the vehicle needed a $19 spark plug. Lucky for my wallet that I only wasted $230 at ford crow foot. and not the nearly $1000 that was quoted to me. More

I love this new truck, and as you might assume, was very concerned with the outcome of my repair. Let me say that after my very positive purchase experience with the good folks at Northstar Cochrane, (Mark, Jodi, and Mitch), my expectations were very high. I am happy to extend my thanks and high praise to everyone who helped me at Northstar Crowfoot. I had a very positive experience from first rolling onto the lot. A salesman, who's name I regrettably cannot recall, saw me examining the bumpers on the new Super-Duties, listened to my story of misfortune with my newly purchased truck, and then personally escorted me over to meet George, the body shop manager. George brought Ryan over from the body shop for his opinion. The appointment was set. Upon dropping off my truck, I was offered a ride back home with Jim. I thoroughly enjoyed his company. He is obviously a people person, and loves his job. I arrived to pick up my truck only to find that not only that the truck was expertly repaired, but that it had been cleaned and polished. Beautiful! Maureen, my body shop coordinator was very pleasant and attentive. She caught my eye the moment I stepped through the door and didn't let go until all the details and questions were looked after. George, of course, was right there to deliver my truck and answer my questions. I mentioned that I might like to keep my old bumper, and before I could drive over to pick it up, Ryan had loaded it up into my truck box. That's service! As a business owner, I judge the quality of an organization by it's people. They tell the story of Northstar corporate culture, and are the most accurate measure of future success.
