Car Buying CAN be pleasant! Car buying definitely is not on of my favorite past times. In-transparent pricing, salespeople who don't listen to what you want - or more likely igno Car buying definitely is not on of my favorite past times. In-transparent pricing, salespeople who don't listen to what you want - or more likely ignore you to push inventory - and quite honestly often a somewhat "slimy personality". And then once the deal is sealed, the pushy after-sales effort to add all kinds of expensive extras. Add to that two working parents who can only do this on the weekend with two bored and tired children. I would rather have a root canal! So I was more than pleasantly surprised with Sam (Shahid) Kalam and the rest of the team at Islington Chrysler. Non-pushy, friendly, open, listening, patient - and on top of that what I consider decent deal with (almost) all the features I was looking for (well not my first choice in color, and a hitch can be easily added - but it was a decent deal!) Same for aftersales - no attempt to push pricy extras, wasting an hour of my time. While the options were given, a simple no was sufficient to move on and get the deal signed quickly. There was one minor issue at the end what I would consider miscommunication. In other circumstances this would have forced me to drop two stars. BUT, Sam and his managers dealt with the issue promptly, professionally and most importantly fairly. All in all a great experience - any time again. Then again my last Dodge refused to die so I might have to wait a few years! More

Imagine if I did not follow up on status? 2 weeks priors, I was also given the incorrect information related to my extended warranty by an advisor. It was too bad that I could not get any dealerships in my area to treat me the same way so I traveled 135 km to meet with Wilson and Adam. I even had the misfortune of running over nails and had to call for roadside assistance and back to the dealer for a repair. I was very impressed with the speed and immediate help to get me taken care of. After purchasing over 15 vehicles over 30 years this was the most rewarding experience.
