Awful service department Was quoted $800 For a repair, ended up with $1150 bill. Was told the car was in perfect condition other then the repaired issue.. 3 days later same issue, called to book an appointment, service manager was extremely rude, take car in anyways as I'm not paying for another diagnoses, only to be told they "missed" a damage emission canister and provided my with a quote for $900 to fix... would probably end up another 1200.... worst service ever, and rude!!! Would never recommend to anyone!! Would rate in the negatives if possible!! More
Service Rip Off Buying the vehicle was easy enough and the sales manager was willing to negotiate since it was month end. Then the gong show started. They attempt to get you to pay 156 dollars for a simple oil change. Plus a charge for shop supplies. But hey they have a nebulous name for it called Service 1. No detail on what exactly is involved with a Service 1 until pressed on the subject. And when informed of what a Service 1 entailed it is the exact same thing minute lube does. I also called another Gary Moe dealership (Mazda) and asked what they would charge for an oil change in my new Santa Fe. I was quoted $59.00. I asked what exactly they did for that $59. The exact same thing as the 156 dollar Service 1. They also have pricier options (Service 2 and Service 3) that the service desk person will decide for you which to take based on your mileage. I'm sure they sucker a lot of people with this and will likely tell them that they must come here or their 8 year warranty is void. Which could not be further from the truth. It states in the owner's manual that as along as the service schedule as laid out in the owner's manual is followed it does not matter where your vehicle is serviced. Don't fall for their xx folks. I won't again. More
