As I was browsing the internet for some deals I came across ERINWOOD FORD out in Mississauga. I called the dealer regarding a truck I saw on their page which was selling at a great price. Dave Grittani had answered the phone and confirmed that what I was seeing on the net was right. As I walked around the dealer I was very impressed with the massive selection and inventory they had for me to choose from compared to the other ford dealers I went to prior. I finally found a place with a big selection! Dave Grittani was very helpful with showing me options and explaining the pricing, as well his honesty and patience made me feel very comfortable on making a purchase. To add all the employees were very helpful and good hearted people along with Carol Buckwald who was excellent at answering my questions, explaining the warranty and financing part of things. I initially made a query (on a Sunday) via the Internet contact page regarding end-of-the-year Fiesta promotions (we were also looking at the Matrix and a Versa). Dave Grittani replied that evening and I popped over the next day with my daughters. We took it for a spin, liked it, and what's more, liked the price. Dave was low-pressure and straightforward regarding pricing, and pointed out additional incentives that were in the pipes. Long story short, my wife took it for a test the next day. Again, no pressure. That makes things soooo much more pleasant. We sat down and reviewed the pricing and incentives, etc. Following up with the business manager was equally painless. I must say I do appreciate everyone's patience as some of our paper work wasn't quite in order and our insurance company let us down by not getting the insurance info to them by deal's closing. Regardless, everything was taken care of. One of the more pleasant car-buying experiences I've had and I think it comes down to professionalism (and being friendly in a sincere manner). What an super car-buying experience! Habib searched for the exact vehicle we were looking for and even though they didn't have it in their huge inventory (we are really picky), they found just what we want the exact vehicle we were looking for and even though they didn't have it in their huge inventory (we are really picky), they found just what we wanted in the colour we requested (2014 Ford Escape SE). They took both of our trades and gave us a fair value for them – they even recovered and cleaned the floor mats from one of our trade vehicles. I came to Erinwood Ford attempting to sell my 2012 Ford Transit Connect Van, because we had recently sold our business and no longer required it. The appraisal went well with the able help of Habib and Chris, and within an hour I was out of there, one very happy customer. Even though I was not buying a new vehicle on this day, the entire team was very, very helpful, and I'll be sure to be back when I or one of our family members is in the Market for a new or used vehicle! In fact, Carol Buckwald, the Finance Manager, went well above and beyond in helping me sort out the problems. This included refinancing, service issues and warranty problems. Joe in Service was very helpful in arranging for coverage with my 3rd party warranty company to pay for some major repairs (that should have been addressed prior to delivery, but at least they'll be covered 100%). Brad in Used Car Sales helped arrange for the repair on the remote starter (this was supposed to be done prior to delivery but was delayed and I wasn't advised until the 11th hour, but again it was fixed to my satisfaction). All in all, even though it wasn't a smooth transaction all the way through, they have come through on all their responsibilities as the dealership and I would gladly buy another car from them. Just think they perhaps should do a better job of inspecting cars before delivery, to make sure everything is in order. My sincere thanks to Carol Buckwald. She has been AWESOME to deal with. More
