I tried to buy a car from this dealership. Was interested in cash payment, no extra features on the car, base model. As well, they tried to sell me a car off the lot that had "extras" (meaning some undercoating and films, and peace of mind packages) that I did not want. The Sales rep (Mitchell Wheaton) was understanding when I said I just wanted a base model. When I asked how much a basic car costs, cash, the sales manager came over and asked for $12,000 (yes, I did ask if it's not $1,200) over MSRP. I walked away. Bought the same car from a different dealership the same day at MSRP. More

We had a terrible experience at Don Wheaton due largely in part to Katrina Banman. My wife and I were excited to purchase a "new" vehicle for our retirement journeys. We had heard great things about Don Wh in part to Katrina Banman. My wife and I were excited to purchase a "new" vehicle for our retirement journeys. We had heard great things about Don Wheaton and figured this is where we would get our "new-to-us" car. Katrina Banman is simply the rudest person, my wife and I have ever encountered. We went to her desk to ask her a question about who to contact to purchase a car and she chewed us out for interrupting her POKEMON game. We apologized as we assumed she was on her break....nope. She wasn't. She was pissed off that she had to actually work instead of getting paid to play.... We brushed it off and asked if we could talk to a member of the sales team. Katrina Banman looked at us and said "I doubt you can afford a car here. Maybe you should try the dump. It might have something in your budget." We decided to leave then as my wife and I didn't deserve to be treated like xxxx simply because she didn't want to do her job. There is a happy ending to this story. My wife and I did get our retirement vehicle....a brand new G-Wagon from Mercedes-Benz West Edmonton, all thanks to Miss Banman's incredibly rude attitude. More
