I found myself at Crown Nissan after my 1997 Pathfinder was recalled. It was a tough day when I was informed that my vehicle was beyond repair. The Pathfinder which, other than the reason for the recall, was in excellent shape. I was informed that Nissan Canada would be purchasing the vehicle at a 'generous price'. That same day I received a phone call from Jeff Goren, Salesman, and that given the circumstances he and Nissan would be taking care of me. I will admit to being a little skeptical about the 'generous price' and being 'taken care of'. From the moment that I stepped into Crown Nissan my skepticism was quickly dismissed. Russ, the service Manager, respectfully and in a straight-forward manner, took me through the recall process. My wife and I met with Jeff Goren, salesman, to discuss the possible purchase of another vehicle. We were quickly impressed with Jeff's honest and enthusiastic manner. That same day we met Brent Sayles, sales manager, and he reiterated that Crown Nissan would take care of us. Within a few days Jeff contacted me with the news that he had a 2005 Pathfinder he thought would be perfect for us. Jeff indeed hit the mark. The vehicle was in excellent shape and the price was right. Throughout this entire process Jeff Goren went above and beyond. He dealt with all of my requests quickly, professionally and in a friendly manner. Thank you Jeff and Brent for making this this a painless process. You were true to your word by taking care of us. Sheng is a great guy who eagerly showed me several options that would suit my needs. He patiently answered my many questions while I was waiting for my new vehicle to arrive. Only two complaints: (1) I had ordered a few accessories at the time of purchase that I told Nissan I would want them intalled when the vehicle arrived before driving the new vehicle off the lot. However, parts were not in stock when the new vehicle arrived (vehicle came in about 40 days after the order was signed - back bumper protector, hitch/bike carrier, cargo liner, side window visors, winter rims). So now I have to bring the vehicle back to get these parts installed which of course means the inconvenience of leaving very early, stress about reliability of shuttle (I don't have flexibility in my job to arrive a few minutes late). (2) my vehicle has a yellow, sticky stain on the outside from the paint protection treatment but service said it won't harm my car's paint and they will wash it off when I bring my vehicle in for accessories/installation. Overall impression/satisfaction - very good. More

I’m not sure but I think there was a spot where I indicated on the form that I declined with a check mark. I was surprised and disappointed when I was informed by the gentleman that that wrote up the deal that this was a compulsory charge. Had I known this I would have offered less. More
