Best experience for a first time buyer I have been in the market for a new car for a long time, my first time stepping into a dealership unfortunately wad not at mazda(which was my first mi I have been in the market for a new car for a long time, my first time stepping into a dealership unfortunately wad not at mazda(which was my first mistake). I did not like how the deal was turning out so I walked. After a few months go by and still looking for that car, I decided to make a stop in at mazda. I was very impressed at how they work with their cleints. Friendly, informative and will work for you which exellent. It only took a couple weeks till i made my purchase with mazda, and I have never been so comfortable with my decision. Thank you Courtenay Mazda for you hard work and friendly service. More

However, I would not recommend this particular Mazda Service Centre, having recei The quality of the work received during my recent service was good. However, I would not recommend this particular Mazda Service Centre, having received better service and more competitive pricing at other Mazda dealerships on Vancouver Island, and in other provinces. I was disappointed that, although I completed the intake form on the website in detail, the exact same information was asked of me, all over again, during the booking of the appointment. Further, while the service reps I spoke to were polite and courteous on the phone, instead asking more questions during vehicle intake, they had to follow up with me multiple times prior to and during the scheduled service appointment. I am glad the questions were asked, to get the most appropriate service for my vehicle, but would felt the service was better organized if the questions were asked at the outset, rather than in multiple follow-up calls. When I arrived to drop off my vehicle, the service rep was polite and courteous after dealing with other customers who had arrived first. It would have been nice to have been acknowledged by someone while I was waiting, however (I think they may have been short staffed, as the only service person that was on the desk was outside when I arrived). They were great about arranging a timely shuttle to where I needed to go that day, though! More

Expect to have warranties explained in detail, and be thoughtful to ask about additional subscription services, like free oil changes/nitrogen tire fills for a set time frame. Sometimes they might forget they are charging you for it, and whether they are beneficial is up to you. Check the vehicle history if you are buying used, don't expect the salesperson to know every vehicle on the lot, they have many and that would be a lot of info to remember. Overall was a pleasant purchase, and I really enjoy the new vehicle! More
