Upon arriving at the dealership we were greeted by Barry Davis, since we had almost made up our minds Barry helped us fill in the blanks on some things we weren't aware of, hooked us up with a great test drive ZOOM ZOOM and helped us through the purchase process making everything as painless as could be. Couldn't be happier with my new car. I had driven the same car for years before I finally decided to shop around for something new. I had pretty low expectations of my ability to be approved for financing, but Mike and Logan at Courtenay Mazda assured me that they would make it happen. Mike and I test drove a couple cars and chatted while Logan worked out the finer details of my admittedly spotty credit history and before I knew it, I was approved to finance a new Mazda 3 GT! I couldn't be happier with my new car. It has all the bells and whistles (some of which I didn't even knew existed, which is pretty cool) and its reasonably priced as well. Who would have thought that buying a car could be a stress-free experience?! The friendly service of the staff was very much appreciated and being able to talk sports with Logan while he figured out how to make the financing work for me really took the worry out of the whole situation. I have nothing but good things to say about Mike and Logan as well as the rest of the staff at Courtenay Mazda and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a new or pre-owned vehicle. I appreciate all their hard work to put me behind the wheel of what is easily the best car I've ever driven. More

After looking through the used car section Barry came out to meet us. After only a few minutes we decided to take three different cars for test drives. After much deliberation I decided to go with a 2005 Mazda 3. This was my first time making a purchase this large and thanks to Barry I felt completely comfortable the entire time. He was straight forward and didn't hide anything from me. I would 100% recommend anyone looking to buy a car to look no further than Courtenay Mazda! More

Great vehicle from great people We had sold our Jeep (sadly) and were in the market for a new SUV. Having owned 4 Mazdas before with great results, we researched the alternatives an We had sold our Jeep (sadly) and were in the market for a new SUV. Having owned 4 Mazdas before with great results, we researched the alternatives and decided on the CX-5. We asked for Chantelle at the dealership having read about her online. When you meet her, don't let her youthfulness make you doubt her knowledge! She has been in the industry for several years and has experience with many of the products that compete with Mazda. She took us for our first test drive in a used Subaru and then a new CX-5 and was very candid with us regarding our comparison questions which we appreciated. She's an excellent listener. Mike then took us out for a more thorough test drive to do the tech stuff and other features (it's a busy place so he took over for Chantelle at her request). Certainly not a pressure sales place. Believe me, the product sells itself. We consider ourselves informed buyers and read a lot about the CX-5, Skyactiv technology etc. before visiting the dealership. It's one of the few products out there that is as good as they say it is. After 2500 km, we love the vehicle. As for all the extras that are offered (eg. extended warranty) we never bite...all that stuff is of questionable value IMO. However they do offer an 8 oil change deal for $400...good value we thought. Anyway, If you want a great buying experience go see Chantelle at Courtenay Mazda!! More
