Having owned 4 Mazdas before with great results, we researched the alternatives and decided on the CX-5. We asked for Chantelle at the dealership having read about her online. When you meet her, don't let her youthfulness make you doubt her knowledge! She has been in the industry for several years and has experience with many of the products that compete with Mazda. She took us for our first test drive in a used Subaru and then a new CX-5 and was very candid with us regarding our comparison questions which we appreciated. She's an excellent listener. Mike then took us out for a more thorough test drive to do the tech stuff and other features (it's a busy place so he took over for Chantelle at her request). Certainly not a pressure sales place. Believe me, the product sells itself. We consider ourselves informed buyers and read a lot about the CX-5, Skyactiv technology etc. before visiting the dealership. It's one of the few products out there that is as good as they say it is. After 2500 km, we love the vehicle. As for all the extras that are offered (eg. extended warranty) we never bite...all that stuff is of questionable value IMO. However they do offer an 8 oil change deal for $400...good value we thought. Anyway, If you want a great buying experience go see Chantelle at Courtenay Mazda!! More

We moved from a low seating luxury sedan, Getting in and out was become more difficult, as we aged. All the staff at the dealership were great. Gaye personally made us comfortable and was very informative and had good suggestions we might not have been aware of. When we left with our new vehicle we felt of having received a fair deal, a future of reliable driving good future service, and a new friends. More
Great service as usual I live Campbell River but choose to get my car serviced at Courtenay Mazda. They've been servicing by current car since 2007 so I've seen a few turnovers in the staff, but the one thing that's always consistent is the way they listen to your needs. Keep up the good work. My fun day buying my car.. As I said in the dealer ship I'm a big girl now.... hehe.... Chantelle and Logan made this very easy for me.... Any questions I had they quickly answered, even if I felt it might be a stupid question not once did they make me feel like I was asking a stupid question..... They also spent many hrs working with me, be it emails, text or me being at dealership.... I will recommend this dealership to everyone.... I even have to say a few days after I bought my used car, it had a little glitch and threw an engine light at me.... that same day I was up at Mazda and it was fixed thanks to the quick work of kyle there service manager and there awesome shop.... I was there no more than an hour...... thank u thank u Courtenay Mazda,Chantelle, Logan and kyle...... I will be back one day to buy a brand new car from you guys....... ?????????? More

The saleswoman, Chantelle, was very friendly, easy I purchased my first car from Courtenay Mazda yesterday and had a super quick and easy experience. The saleswoman, Chantelle, was very friendly, easy to talk to, answered all questions I had with no problems and made the experience a total breeze. I really felt that I was valued and cared for as a person looking for a first car and not just a customer making a purchase. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. More

I would describe my experience as positive, saw this truck advertised on craigs list and popped in to have a look, went on a lengthy road test with Chantelle and she did her best to answer all of my questions (I didn't expect her to know everything about every unit on the lot), she was patient, and actually listened to my rambling while we drove. Yes, there is an old BINOS restaurant in Courtney too lol. She was accommodating and did not rush me to return, no pushy questions, much appreciated. When we returned she did some research on the questions she could not answer during the road test and got answers for all of my questions, thanks! Got a reasonable amount of money for my trade. Because I am a mechanic by trade, I felt it necessary to do my own inspection of the unit, and they put it on the hoist for me to inspect myself, I found the grille had some damage (wasn't a huge deal, just cracked and small piece missing) and Corey deducted an acceptable discount from the price, there was no argument or drama, just negotiation. I noticed there was no box liner and they agreed to add the cost of having it done in Nanaimo added to the deal so I could leave with it instead of waiting and returning again later. We came to an agreement and did the deal that day, I returned home with this new-to-me truck, and am very happy with it, Thanks Guys. More

I wasn't convinced that retirement to a small BC coastal community warranted another luxury vehicle. Gaye Williams had been referred to us by friends and she was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. After test driving the CX-5 and CX-3 we decided that the CX-5 Grand Touring with Tech package made the most sense for us. The price was what we had expected to pay and the purchase was straightforward. If the customer service continues to be as good as the initial purchase this will be a comparable experience to the type of customer service that we have experienced with Lexus and Mercedes Benz in the past. The entire experience was positive and effortless. More
