2014 Escape purchase wth Craig Livingston My current vehicle is a 2011 Escape purchased thru Craig in January 2011. I received a call from Craig one evening last week and he gave me some deta My current vehicle is a 2011 Escape purchased thru Craig in January 2011. I received a call from Craig one evening last week and he gave me some details on the upcoming sale this past weekend. Although I was not really thinking of trading in my current vehicle I did book an appointment on Friday, Apr 4 to test drive a 2014 Escape. Craig is always very knowledgeable and because I have dealt with him before he knows what my limits are so the 2014 Escape we drove fit my budget and I was very pleased with the model he choose for us to test drive. I am always very prepared before I start this type of negotiation and I had mentioned to Craig that I was not prepared to go over my current payment amount of $424 so if we could get close to that number we could continue to work towards a final deal. After a short wait, Jeff and Craig came back with the initial offer. After a couple of rounds of explanation and a few more questions I was comfortable with the offer even though it was a few dollars above the initial $424. The papers were signed and I was able to take the new vehicle home for the night. On Thursday, I met Craig to go over the vehicle. He had already set up many of features he knew I would use but he took the time to explain them and make sure I was comfortable. Always, always a pleasure to work with Craig and the purchase of this new vehicle was a stressfree and enjoyable experience. I would recommend Craig to any of my family and friends when they are looking for a new or used vehicle from Capital Ford. More

Great sales people, sketchy service department. The people in the sales department and in the office in general are excellent here. I run a fleet of 9 trucks, I recently purchased a new F-350 Super The people in the sales department and in the office in general are excellent here. I run a fleet of 9 trucks, I recently purchased a new F-350 Super Duty. Within 24 hours I had a warning light, water in the fuel, a sensor was replaced but the "technician" neglected to reprogram the system so within 5 minutes the light was back. Two hours later they had finally figured out what had happened. Past experiences include being advised that I needed to replace the EGR Cooler in my '06 F-250 after 320,000 km, turns out I just needed to replace a $12.00 rad cap. This truck also had an oil leak, was told I needed to rebuild the engine top down because they couldn't tell where the oil was coming from, even with dye. Turned out I had a cracked line to the oil cooler, under $200 to replace. This truck went 632,000 km before I replaced it. My impression of Capitals service department is they are always hunting the big repair score. There seems to be a general reluctance to check small issues first. I still take my fleet there for general maintenance but I "always" get a second opinion when they "recommend" anything major. More often than not their "recommendations" are not really required. More
