Before I went to the dealership I called to ask how much it was going to cost for a simple oil change. I was told that it would be just a little more than it cost me for my other vehicle from another manufacturer because they used a semi-synthetic oil instead of conventional oil. Upon arrival I was told that they do not use semi-synthetic oil but either conventional or synthetic oil and that it would be over $100 because synthetic oil was recommended for my particular vehicle. I was also told that this would be a cost saving because it would only need to be replaced after 10,000 kilometers instead of 5,000 kilometers as with conventional oil. I was choking on paying over $100 for an oil change but felt that it was acceptable because it would last longer. After paying I found out that the synthetic oil, like conventional oil, was only good for six months. Considering that the vehicle in question is an older occasional use vehicle, I will certainly not exceed 5000 kilometers in six months so it would have been nice to know this prior to selecting the more expensive oil. I then noticed that the oil change sticker showed that the oil should be changed after either 10,000 kilometers or in four (not six) months time. I fully acknowledge that all of the above isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things but it did leave me feeling somewhat wary of returning for an actual service appointment. When I returned home and checked the itemized invoice I found out that the oil itself cost $74 (the same oil I can get at CT for around $50 and much less when on sale). More

Quick mechanical check I booked in a time for the guys to check on a rattle that I was hearing at rpm speeds. Either way, the checked out the rattle, removed what was causing it and it was done in 30min! Just enough time for me to walk the dog around the area to kill some time. Super nice guys. More
