First almost-new car, First dealership experience I found a good deal posted at this dealership through car-gurus online. Emailed to make sure it was available and got a response the same day from Phi I found a good deal posted at this dealership through car-gurus online. Emailed to make sure it was available and got a response the same day from Phil Buller who followed up with a phone call and set up an appointment for me to come test drive. I then received another call that night from the sales manager who was calling to confirm, which I thought was unnecessary, but whatever. Phil then emailed me a video of "my new car" inside and out, which was kind of funny but showed they really wanted my business. I showed up for the test drive apprehensive about dealing with a 'used car salesman' type of guy and was pleasantly surprised to find that Phil is a totally normal, down-to-earth, no-pressure sort. He was super informative and knew everything about the car. When it came down to talking money I had a price in mind I felt was fair and he was clear and straightforward that the price I named might be too low, but that he would work with the sales manager to see what they could do. I didn't feel like I was getting scammed or passed around, but that they had a range they could accept based on specific criteria and they were checking to see if it could happen. I had to leave to pick up my daughter so left my number and asked that they call when the had an answer. 30 minutes later I got a call from Phil saying the dealership would accept my offer. From that point it went even more smoothly -- paid a deposit over the phone with my credit card an dropped by a couple days later with the balance. If you are going to this dealership ASK FOR PHIL! I saw an ad for a 2014 Buick Encore and messaged Capital online to see about setting up an appointment for a test drive. We met Phil on our arrival at the dealership and he welcomed us into his office to review the listing for the vehicle and to set us up for a test drive. All went well, made the purchase, but was concerned about squeaking brakes so we brought the vehicle back to Capital and they got it into the shop to investigate. Long story short, they fixed the squeak free of charge and listened to my concerns, which was greatly appreciated. I love my new vehicle and am happy to recommend Phil to future car buyers. More
