I had built online all the sub-compacts from the various auto companies and priced them. Kia offered by far the best value, with features that drew extra costs with the others. So I went to Bank St. Kia to check them out, and this was far and away the most pleasant car-buying experience of my life. I was dreading an interview with some high-pressure salesperson, interested only in a quick sale. What I got was Sarah Hattab, whose personality hasn't a drop of high-pressure in it. She knew the Kia products inside out, listened respectfully to my description of my needs, and waited patiently for me to make up my mind. The result is my new 2013 Kia Rio 5-door, the most exciting car I've ever owned. I wasn't looking forward to dealing with the financial manager at the end, (an awkward time with other companies) but Frank Daoud took me through the paperwork with patience and ease, explaining (sometimes twice) details that I'd failed to take in the first time round. My enduring memory of Bank St. Kia staff - as opposed to other companies - is their respect for potential customers. More

This was a 2012 Rondo which we enjoy driving very much and will have for many years. Sarah made follow up calls to us to follow up on things. Have been too many dealer ships in the Ottawa and the surrounding area but none stood out like the Kea dealer ship on Bank Street. The service department which we checked out had the same effect on us in regards to feeling comfortable dealing with them. Dealt with Tyler Griffin. Hats off to all staff and owners. I went to over 12 dealerships in the Ottawa-Gatineau area and met with about 20 sales consultants. I had an unpleasant or neutral experience with all of them, except for one guy at Bank Street Hyundai and the sales team at Bank Street KIA (Elie, Sayid, and Ralph). These later ones were excellent: they answered all my questions - and I had many - without rushing, they treated me with respect, and they made sure to propose me a car that met all my requirements. I met with them multiple times and they always immediately took time for me. They highly value customer satisfaction and that is important to me. I also considered every car in the KIA Forte 5 EX category from the Hyundai Elantra GT GL to the hybrid Toyota Prius through the Ford Focus. In the end, the KIA easily stood out as the best car and for not expensive. It had lots of options - more than most other cars - and it looked better than the other cars. It also had a 5 year warranty on everything, while most other cars had only 3 years. KIA also had the 5 years road assistance for free while the others had 3 years at most to the best of my memory. I was not planning to buy this car for another few months, but they offered me a deal/price that I could not refuse. Not only was the car not expensive from the start, I got an even better price from them. The negotiations were excellent and very pleasant. They actually gave me advice and how to ask for and get a lower price. What I learned during the negotiations will no doubt be helpful to me in the future. I totally recommend this dealership to everyone looking for a new car. More

Eli was great before he sold me a car and even better after he sold me a car. He was the first sales person to call me up a week later to make sure everything was going great and asked if he can help me in anyway. I really appreciate the great deal you got me Eli. As for Hassan the Finance manager was the most professional young man I've ever met. He took his time to explain the financing and the protection packages in detail to work out the best deal for me.
