He made me feel I was not worthy of the upgrade and in fact made jokes such as "hold on to your seat as I tell you the price as you might fall off". xxx! This is how you talk to your customer that eventually pays your salary. He was arrogant in his responses and not at all helpful in explaining the offer that was going on. More

He told us about the car, what we would be paying and what we would get for our trade-in car. Gerard never made us feel pressured to buy the vehicle. He is definitely not one of those “PUSHY” sales representatives. Yesterday when we picked up the RAV4 Gerard was most helpful once again. If you are looking for a vehicle, we would definitely recommend going to Attrell Toyota and seeing GERARD VIJAYAN. You will not feel pressured and you will meet a very pleasant, friendly sales representative! More

Whenever we need service, we get an appointment very quickly and the mechanics are so friendly. We did buy from them and a year later unfortuantely we were in an accident. We had the car towed to the dealership and even tho the store was closed, Trent was so kind and helpful to me. He stayed with me until the towtruck arrived with my husband. He even called my husband for me to make sure he was ok and was on his way. Offered me coffee or hot chocolate and explained to me about the process. I would definately go back to them to purchase another car. I told them not only is it important to a customer to get good service when purchasing a car, but the real deal braker is when you get good service and caring service after you purchase a car. that is much more important to me. The time they took with us to answer questions, alleviate concerns and explain the differences in vehicles was very helpful. I found them to be people of high character and ethical in dealings. The price was good upon comparisons with other dealerships. I noticed they have sales representatives from various ethnic backgrounds and languages. For those who prefer to deal in their native language, you can find sales representatives there. Phillip was an outstanding sales agent, patient in dealings, attentive and willing to work with his customers. I highly recommend Attwell Toyota. You will not be disappointed in this dealership. More
Unethical sales experience I just had a very poor experience with this company. I normally do not write reviews on this type of forum; in fact, this is my first. I am feeling I just had a very poor experience with this company. I normally do not write reviews on this type of forum; in fact, this is my first. I am feeling such vehemence that I feel compelled to complete a review. I called them in the morning to make sure that a car I was interested in was still available. After hearing from two people (one by phone and one by email) , I drove 40 minutes to Brampton to test drive the car only to find a "Hold" sign on the dash of the vehicle. When I asked about it, the salesman said not to worry that the deal fell through and assured me that it was available. During the test drive, the sales person took many calls and texts so when we were about to return to the dealership, he said that there was another group who was waiting to take the car for a test drive. I said that I wanted to purchase the vehicle and he confirmed that I would be able to do so. I then stopped the vehicle and pulled over to make sure. I said that I didn't want someone else to "scoop" the car before we had an opportunity to negotiate a deal. Again, he confirmed that I would be able to make the purchase. When we returned to his office, I was offered a seat and he left momentarily. When he returned, he said that someone else purchased the car and was taking it to their mechanic for inspection. He then suggested that we could do a "back up" deal. I was shocked! If he had been up front about the "Hold" if that who made the purchase or what was going on behind the scenes while we were test driving the car, this wouldn't be so upsetting. The lack of transparency and his self-serving responses confirmed every negative stereotype of the nasty unethical used car salesman. The only thing missing was the plaid sports jacket and sunglasses. This feels like I've been tricked into wasting my time, to ensure they had a back up purchaser. Simple communication would have easily prevented this experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid these people-at least this salesman. There are many ethical people in the industry that would take better care of you. More

I booked a maintenance online and received an email confirmation, called 2 days prior to my appointment to confirm and the service associate tried to convince me I needed a more expensive service package. (Toyota recommended 56k maintenance was only an oil change, Attrell recommended was over 3 times more expensive). After a little back and forth I am told that if I get just the Toyota recommended maintenance package then my car would not need to be serviced by a "Master Technician" and the earliest appointment was 11AM with a "Regular Technician" (Over 3 hours later then my original 7:45 CONFIRMED time, that I personally booked time off for). I immediately cancelled my appointment and booked with a different shop. Why offer confirmation to a scheduled maintenance only to cancel it when the customer does not want to agree to an up sell. More

I have been going at this dealership for more then 3 years for service of my two cars. Infect, i bought one of them from this dealership. Even though I live in Mississauga. I have my Winter tiers for both cars purchased and stored with them as well. They offered me Free Storage for life with Tire Purchase. They had provided me shuttle service to Mississauga as well 3 times when they needed more time to work or were busy. In the past one and a half year, there service department has become more customer un-friendly. I am not surprised to see some 1 star reviews from other customers complaining about the behaviour of the Service manager. I have seen him arguing with a customer in very rude manner. Last December I went to get my Tires Swap and oil change. My cars tail light has moisture in it. I do have the ECP on the vehicle. The service lady told me she will discuss with the mechanic and let me know. She came back to me later and told me that the tail light need to be replaced and there will be no cost to me but they will have to order the part and will call me when the part arrives. They created the bill for it which clearly shows that the price will be 0. Off we go but i never received any phone calls and I forgot about it as well as i was not using the car (FRS) that much in the winter. Now i need to swap the tires again, i called for an appointment, told them about the tail light from the last appointment and another issue, they noted it down. She said the car is due for a full maintenance check which will take 3 - 4 hours, I said sure, i will just need a shuttle ride, that is where she said they are no longer offering shuttle service to outside Brampton. and gave me the option to get the service check done from a local dealership in Mississauga. I said fine i will get it done in mississauga and i was not due for Oil change anyways as it was not even 6 months i got the last oil change. and booked the appointment. An hour later I received a call back and i was told that the tail light is not covered in the warrantee and I will have to pre-pay for it before they can order it. I told them about what i was told last time and i have the written document from them, they refuse to honour it. I still needed the tires swapped so i went for my appointment, have them swap the tires, i did not get the oil change as i need to get the full service done which include the oil change, did show them the paperwork from December about the tail light, but they flat out refused again. They did escalated it to Toyota Canada for a consideration. I said fine and sit in the waiting area. 15 minutes later, the guy came and took me to the service manager, and i was really surprised on what he said. He told me that since I am not getting the oil change done, (Which is not due till June 2017), they can not store the tires unless i pay $57 storage fee. I told him I am not due for the oil change and I can get the maintenance service done but I can not stay in the dealership for the whole day unless you give me a drop-off. He flat out refuse to offer that. He refused to do the tire swap unless I agree to pay the tire storage fee. I am not a person who will argue a lot, I paid the fee but will never be going there again. Will be picking up the tires for the other vehicle from there as well. Will not be referring them to others as I had been in past. as well give my business to someone else who care. If you have bought your Toyota from here, get the service done from somewhere else. More
