Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. My wife, Kristen and I moved out to AZ over 11 years ago and together we have a beautiful little girl, Aislyn. When not at work, I like watching my hometown Steelers and Penguin games, or a quiet night at home with my family. I also enjoy taking my family on outdoor adventures (hiking, fishing, and camping) enjoying our beautiful, sunny state in either of our Subarus. I also enjoy taking my daughter to her favorite spots (the Zoo, Odysea, etc.) I have been in the Auto industry for over 10 years, and have been with Subaru for the past 9. It’s a brand I love and believe in and find it easy to stand behind(I own two myself!) I take pride in providing a GREAT customer experience helping to get them into the car they want! The Chandler superstore is what a proper representation of Subaru brand should be like. After a bottom of the barrel worst possible experience at another Subaru dealership in town closer to Phoenix/Sco of Subaru brand should be like. After a bottom of the barrel worst possible experience at another Subaru dealership in town closer to Phoenix/Scottsdale, I was strongly encouraged by a family member to work with the Chandler team. Working with the Chandler team vs the previous dealership was night and day. We are talking the worst McDonalds you’ve ever been to vs a three star Michelin restaurant. Chandler is three stars and then some. They are what a car leasing/buying experience should be like. They are what make a Subaru, a Subaru. GM Rob Daily from Chandler called me the same day of my horrid experience with the other dealership and told me he would get me sorted and he did just that. Asked me what I was looking for, budget and all. He passed me off to Jack Callaghan his assistant sales manager who (what felt like) effortlessly got me sorted with the exact 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness with upgrades and accessories that I was looking for within 24hours. Not only that, and maybe my budgeting was off, but he got things $5 below the lower end of what I was looking to have as my monthly payments. Done deal. Put some money down to hold the car, was told it would be in end of month (December), got a text this past Friday morning (12/15) as I was walking to the gym that it had arrived. Jack, knowing my excitement, was able to work with the team to have it ready for me later that day after 5pm. Unfortunately, Jack was unable to be on-site, so he ensured that I was prepared when I came in: we spoke that afternoon, made a checklist of what I needed and he confidently handed me off to Caitlin Humphrey his sales associate who would help me that evening with things. Caitlin simply put, was outstanding and so friendly. She took the ball and ran with it to the end-zone. Walked me through all of the papers I was signing. She took time to explain a couple additional options that I could add in, most being extremely practical, by no means tried selling me anything I didn’t need. Working in a previous life as a sales development rep, I very much appreciate the handoff process between a manager and associate. Caitlin wanted to ensure that she took the same level of care as Rob and Jack did and it showed. Last but not least, Brian Banks - he is FUN and just a delight to work with for the money side of things. When going through a couple final options of additional coverage for a third year of the lease, I felt like I was being given clear and transparent information that I was able to process at my speed. It wasn’t like this non stop jabber of buzz words where I am unable to even process what is being said to me. Top to bottom, from Rob to Jack to Caitlin to Brian - when you have a positive experience with each person, that isn’t a coincidence, that is the sign of a strong and honest team who care about their customer’s first and the commission check second. My experience with the Subaru brand was almost completely destroyed because of the other dealership near PHX/Scottsdale. The Chandler Subaru team changed that and they have my loyalty as a customer moving forward. Chandler Subaru is the shining definition of what I would call an honest, fair and friendly dealership who properly represent Subaru’s brand and values. I will proudly champion and recommend Chandler to anyone considering a Subaru. Do not waste your time with anywhere else in the PHX area. Chandler will treat you as a human and that is what the car leasing/buying experience should be. In three years, I look forward to working with Chandler Subaru again - whether it is purchasing my current Subaru or leasing another model. Oh ya, and the Crosstrek rocks so far. Awesome awesome car.
