What impressed us about Obi is his honest, sincere customer first attitude. Without the trust we gained in Obi, we wanted to pursue doing business with Mel Hambelton Ford. There were some challenges formulating a custom fit for some of our unique needs. Tommie Smith, Used Car Sales Manager, has to be best in class. What a guy. The most fair, eager to help manager we've experienced. Only he could have paved the way to make the deal work. Our car purchase had have a financial lender and Casey Branlett had the punch- the expertise to make it happen. We are thrilled !! More

New car purchase and follow up I purchased a new car, it had 342 miles on it, I drove it around after I purchased and put 36 miles on it and put it in my garage. After a couple of days I went out to dust my car off and take her for a spin. It was then I discovered door chips and scratches on the drivers rear panel. I informed my salesman and tell him I did not buy a used car with dings and scratches and that I did not want this car...long story short they will not replace the car...they want to paint the car...this is just wrong...I did not buy a USED car. This is not my only complaint....I have made 6 trips to Mel's for issues regarding this vehicle and I have told everyone I DO NOT WANT THIS CAR...it has fallen on deaf ears. I have also learned that my salesman was less than honest with me regarding something that was very important for me to have in my vehicle. I am 66 yes old and this was to be my final car, and all I have gotten out this experience is a major headache. Management has not returned my calls...so much for them caring after the sale. More

The finance person tried to sell us add ons on the back side of the sale which by law are NOT necessary. I'm saddened by their attempt to make us buy more than what was strictly required. Obviously, this made it much more difficult for me to hit "yes" when asked would I recommend this dealership. All I can say is, do your homework BEFORE you buy from anywhere. More

Best place to purchase a vehicle! We initially found the 2014 Jeep Wrangler on the internet then we called the dealer to obtain more information. We were connected with Obi and he was We initially found the 2014 Jeep Wrangler on the internet then we called the dealer to obtain more information. We were connected with Obi and he was very friendly and willing to answer our questions. I told him that we were looking at several vehicles and was going to decide in the next day or two as to which one we would pursue. Obi did not pressure us in anyway with multiple phone calls after our initial phone call...in which we truly appreciated. A few days later we decided to go look at the Jeep and set up an appointment with Obi. When we arrived at the dealership, we were impressed with the facility and the number of vehicles that were on the lot. The receptionist was very friendly and made the effort to get up and go look for Obi when he did not answer his phone. Obi was actually outside pulling the Jeep up so that we may test drive it. Obi was very professional from the second we met him. He took the time to ride with us and answer all questions that we had. Obi was not pushy in any way and allowed us to take the time to think about the purchasing the vehicle. He understood the process that as a buyer we had to go through. It was about us and not him. Nothing like we have ever experienced before in purchasing a vehicle. After we made the deal, Obi took the time to show us around the dealership, knowing he had his next appointment waiting on him. He could have brushed us aside but he made sure as a new customer to the dealership, that we knew what else the dealership offered to its customers. A first class service center, a gift shop, and a restaurant. They even gave us a free lunch! Zack our finance guy carried the professionalism torch after Obi had spent more time than he needed to with us. Zack was very knowledgeable and explained our financing options and didn't try to sell (force) any other insurance products. He was very respectable and was very quick in getting our financing set up. After that he moved us over to a couple of younger gentleman that checked us out and helped us move things from our old Jeep to our new one. These two gentleman were also very professional and were very quick with their tasks. During our checkout we received new t-shirts, cap, and mugs! Never have we ever received multiple gifts for purchasing a vehicle. A week after the purchase, our tags were up for renewal and we didn't get a temporary tag, we just transferred our old tag. I called the dealership and visited with Stephanie McKennon. She understood my urgency of getting a temporary tag so that we would not have an expired tag. I would say within an hour she had emailed me a temporary tag...now that is customer service! We received the title from the dealership within two weeks from when we purchased the vehicle. Now we have received cookies from Obi! The customer service from beginning to the end has been the very best we have ever experienced in purchasing a vehicle. All of these individuals should be proud and recognized for the amazing job that they do. More
