Worst customer service experience. We have been dealing with this dealership for many years and Michael was one of the best person in sales they had. After he was gone, we have been suffering a lot lately. I would specifically like to mention Mary Green (Internet Sales), i wanted to buy out Toyota Camry whose lease was over and i wanted to see how much would be the amount every month if i finance it for 4 or 5 years. I contacted them through the chat on their website, called them on their local number and sent email to reach out to them as i wasn't having enough time to go and visit their dealership. Mary first informed me that the vehicle is under my mother in law's name and she should allow this, my mother in law allowed it and confirmed by email and through telephonic conversation, this satisfied Mary's request, then she asked for me to sign the form with my SSN and other details to give me the rate. I did everything possible but in the end, she refused to give me any information saying that i have to visit them. If this was the case, why did you make me waste so much of my time on chat/email/phone/filling out the forms. This is ridiculous, when i asked for the contact details of the management, she simply ignored and didnt provide me any details. Sure Mary and the management of Hackensack Toyota, i would rather take my business else where but to deal with people like you who treat their old committed customers so badly. More

I feel this is harassment, and I will not do business with Hackensack Toyota because of their policy allowing this harassment. More

While some embrace the challenge, others like me, are fraught with terror. When it came time to replace our 12 year old SUV, we watched way too many YouTubes and visited car dealer inventories on Sundays. We narrowed our decision to the Toyota Highlander. My goal was to do my homework on model pricing and with some helpful tips from my brother and friend from work, I felt equipped to begin the negotiating process. My 1st attempt resulted in a phone call from a dealer where the representative’s first words to me were, “who is this”? Strike 1 - not the way to engage a customer. My 2nd attempt put me in contact with Mary from Toyota of Hackensack. It was clear from the start Mary was a professional who knew how to treat a prospective buyer, was courteous and responded quickly. A price was decided and although ToH’s 1st price offer on my trade in was an insult, we came to an agreement, I left a deposit and picked up our brand new (only 7 miles!) 2018 Toyota Highlander Limited. Ramon took care of my in person visit, Billy handled the purchase, Steve handled the paperwork, Dan the vehicle review. All were respectful, personable and willing to answer all my questions. I was a little surprised it took over 90 minutes to pay, complete the process and drive out of the lot in our beautifully styled mica gray Toyota Highlander. When you think of how much $ you spend on a new car, the process should be exciting and fun. While mine was not overly exciting, it wasn’t as painful as I thought thanks to the dedicated staff at Toyota of Hackensack. More
