I started here at Smythe Volvo at the age of 18 as a porter. Over the last 30 years I became an Apprentice Mechanic, Mechanic, Sales Consultant, Sales Manager, General Manager, Owner then President/CEO. My favorite aspect of working at Smythe Volvo is the interaction with our customers. It's a pleasure to get to know them personally and to see them happy with our level of service. My favorite Volvo model is the 1965 P1800. It's a sporty and extremely durable vehicle that signifies the heritage of Volvo. It's silhouette can be seen in the Smythe Volvo logo. Outside of work my complete focus is on my wonderful wife and six children.

My wife and I just traded our Volvo S60 for a new lease on an XC 40. With the supply chain problem affecting auto pricing, we thought a new Volvo would be out of range for the first time in our 20 years of on an XC 40. With the supply chain problem affecting auto pricing, we thought a new Volvo would be out of range for the first time in our 20 years of leasing from the Smyth dealership. But our special thanks to our sales consultant, Kyle Jackson. He met with us several times; his professionalism and personal commitment were a great service to us. Kyle was always confident that he would lead us to an offer that would keep us “in the family” of Volvo owners, and he did. I’ve been driving the XC 40 for a week now and it’s a fantastic ride. Max was so help Henry (Finance) and the management team at Smythe Volvo are amazing! We recently purchased an XC90 and it’s our family’s first Volvo. Max was so helpful in showing us all of the vehicle features and even told us to reach out if we had any further questions down the road. David and Kevin were both helpful in showing us the vehicle and going for a test drive with it. Henry made the purchasing process so easy. Jesus and Jeremy were wonderfully helpful. Jesus guided us every step of the way. Making sure we were comfortable with our new Volvo choice and making all sales stuff easy as could be.
