What makes a good dealership an excellent dealership in my mind, is the service department. I have been coming to Honda of Ames since I purchased my first Honda Accord, 1990 DX. Since then, I have purchase my mind, is the service department. I have been coming to Honda of Ames since I purchased my first Honda Accord, 1990 DX. Since then, I have purchased three used cars and two other new Accord's from them. The used cars were for my daughter and son and the other new Accord's were for Nancy and me. All of the work done on our new Honda's has all been done at Honda of Ames. I will say that I regret the last purchase of our 2020 Accord was not at Honda of Ames in January of this year only because they did not have what we needed. Our need was to get our first automatic shift car with cloth heated seats and I had to purchase the one I found in Nebraska. It is now here in Ames and just received service from Honda of Ames. More

Honda of Ames was very friendly and helpful — they were able to provide a replacement key when we lost the only key for the vehicle. Their service was very prompt and they also repaired a recall item free able to provide a replacement key when we lost the only key for the vehicle.
