Stay far away from Danbury Hyundai. The service department is a joke. Dropped my car off on 9/1/22 and forced to take it back on 9/25/23. New service manager there, Jay, well he calls himself a manager lies, mistreats, dances around any questions regarding the work they were supposed to have done along with speaking badly about past manager and techs. They kept my car for 12 & 1/2 months for replacement of 2 major components to find out only 1 part was needed, so they now say, just to get my car out of their lot. The claim adjuster from my extended warranty company along with Hyundai’s mechanic identified the other part was needed. Jay came to Danbury in March. Wanted to get all the cars that had been sitting in the lot for months on end for service back to the owners because it didnt look good for them. Jay stated my car never needed to 2nd part. So I guess he was basically saying the adjuster and his mechanic didnt know what they were talking about?!?! I asked 4 times in person, by phone, email and text and they have neglected to provide me in writing that my car didnt need the other part. I don’t feel safe driving the car. They either dont want to admit to any error or they are hiding something about my vehicle and certainly don’t want the liability. But thats ok because I have a recorded call with Jay saying my car didnt need the part in the event a major issue should happen. They replaced brakes, filters, did a front end alignment, detailed the car and a full tank of gas for $0. That was a nice thing to do but it was a cover up because they never finished or intended on finishing the work!! They also had the nerve to say they replaced my battery, you didnt nor did the battery need to be replaced because it was only a year old. Lies! Maureen from Service stated she had been calling to sign a loaner agreement thats needed every 30 days but I never respond to her. Funny because no one else there had a problem calling me and not to mention, I have been at the dealership for oil changed for the loaner from February till the day you forced me out of the loaner and back into my unsafe unreliable vehicle this past September. That day Steve told me my car was ready and finished that afternoon and the parts needed came in and installed. Then service tells me the vehicle was ready for months. Most all of the employees i dealt with when i first brought in my car have either been fired or they were smart enough to leave on their own. Then dealing with Brandon for financing to maybe buy the loaner i was driving that had 12k in miles on it at the time, he works up the numbers and tries to sell it to me as if it had zero miles. Also embarrassing me when he ran my credit saying aloud for all in the showroom to hear i need a co-signer to buy the car. Don’t think so buddy. I have dealt with this dealership since 2009 bought several vehicles and referred buying customers to them. Last thing to mention when buying a used car they show you and tell you the carfax is clean no accidents. Just to recently find out my vehicle was involved in 3 accidents prior to my purchase. They are liars, untrustworthy, disrespectful, deceitful scammers. Shame on you Bill S. and Steve Y. for allowing a “business” to run as such. Stop treating people like animals, stop the lies, stop talking down to people and taking advantage of a situation. Show the respect and honesty that the customers deserve. But to top it all off, corporate doesnt care either. They dont want to hear or deal with any issues. They are just as ignorant! Much wasted time and energy dealing with them. Your response to this will probably be we need your name to look up my file or we couldnt find your paperwork or give us a call to discuss. The damage is done! I strongly advise NEVER purchasing a car from this dealership. My experience has been nothing short of terrible. The service provided is abysmal, and they consistently fail to uphold their promises, i dealership. My experience has been nothing short of terrible. The service provided is abysmal, and they consistently fail to uphold their promises, including warranties. I've been in an ongoing battle with them for the past 6-7 months, and not a single issue has been resolved. Their communication is appalling, leaving customers in the dark without any updates on their cars. To make matters worse, they even lost my car keys when I attempted to pick up my vehicle. When I contacted Hyundai's corporate case manager, I was informed that my car was no longer being considered in a case hyundai corporate opened because my car was not at the service shop, but They had discouraged me from leaving it, stating that it would be towed if I did so. This conflicting information has added to my frustration. The constant turnover of management is also a significant concern. Every time I request to speak with a manager, I've met with someone new, further demonstrating their lack of organization and consistency. In my honest opinion, this establishment warrants serious scrutiny and reconsideration. I deeply regret not being aware of these issues beforehand, as I would have undoubtedly taken my money elsewhere. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere. This place is garbage. As a word of advice, do not place trust in the sales representatives' words. It appears that what you believe you're purchasing is far from what you'll actually receive. Proceed with caution when dealing with this company. More

Bought a new car had an issue with a tire booked an apt second I get there was treated so badly by the people in the drop off department multiple people ! After demanding to speak to someone els I was able to get what I needed to do well the tires wasn’t there but I was going to be helped I’m super upset I buy a brand new car from this dealership and within 20 day of that I get this treatment from here ? Well luckily for them I can’t return the car because I would and take my money where it’s appreciated! More

Customer Service is the worst. Not only at the dealership but throughout the Hyundai Corporation. The dealership wants me to pay out of pocket to rent a car during the repair time and Hyundai Motor America Escalation Department doesn't have the decency to return my phone call even after their customer service department has made many requests!! I should not have to pay anything for a mistake Hyundai made with white paint. TALK ABOUT LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS IS IT!!! More

Horrible service they lie thru their teeth. I have called and called and even went there. They say. We are looking into it. This one will called that one will call and guess what no one calls. This has been going on since june .i think corporate is as bad as their dealers. We email corporate no response. This is the second time first time curry Hyundai changed the engine and then 1 month later engine issues again. The care still there not even looked at. NO communication stills. Making car payment for that has been sitting there in their parking lot. More
