This vehicle had things wrong with it you just simply wouldn't expect, even of a non-certified pre-owned vehicle. Out of balance and alignment, all 4 break pad and rotors bad, in need of oil/filter change, drivers side heated seat not functional, back-up camera buggy. Again, I understand my responsibility when it comes to purchasing "As Is." But this disappointing experience, I think it's fair to share it.

While we do appreciate this sincere response, we must point out that numerous months after the purchase of an AS IS vehicle with over 100k miles on it and nearly 10 years old, we would not be able to compensate any monetary help towards repairs on this vehicle. We diligently encourage ALL of our customers to have their vehicle of interest checked with a trusted mechanic of their choice prior to their purchase to avoid these types of issues. We offer this option to anyone purchasing any vehicle. We also require an AS IS form that our customers sign acknowledging that they're AT RISK buying an older vehicle with a lot of miles on it. We have been in business for over 50 years because we make it a diligent practice to ensure people are awarded the ability to find out as much information as possible about their vehicle of interest with their own personal trusted shop/mechanic/technician prior to purchase. We certainly do not want bad reviews because of AS IS vehicles, but we believe we are doing everything we can with the utmost integrity to ensure that folks buying AS IS vehicles are aware of the potential problems they could encounter with said vehicle when they buy it from us. We are sincere in that we would love to make it right, however, our dealership has no way of compensating for an AS IS vehicle with any kind of issue almost 6 months after purchase. We wish you the best from the Phil Fitts Team!

Want to state publicly that believe it's a fair final comment from the Dealer. I agree it was on me to be more careful and discriminating. As originally stated ... I understand the meaning of As Is. The truth is that I was just shocked and taken aback at the extent of work that needed to be done to get the vehicle to be able to pass inspection. But I should have had the vehicle thoroughly inspected prior to purchasing. Have had good experiences with Phil Fitts (and the salesperson) in the past. Appreciate your responsiveness.
