Requested to speak to customer and was provided an email address. I reached out, but never received a response, therefore I am posting our follow up publicly in response:       First of all, I would like to thank you for your feedback. I need my department providing the best possible service, and I cannot improve if I do not know when we have fallen short. Secondly, I would like to apologize for your recent service experience. The experience described in your comments is absolutely not the experience I want you or anyone you know to have.       I spoke to Caleb, my assistant service manager, who oversees the truck shop, and he admittedly said that he became frustrated during the course of the visit and could have and should have handled the situation differently. Upon investigating the situation, it is obvious that we did a poor job on several fronts. The vehicle had last been serviced here in 2018 and was still under the previous customer's information. We should have verified that at check-in. My technician that was supposed to change the oil did not, and to the best that I can determine that is due to a misunderstanding on his part. Caleb was under the impression that the oil change was completed. The course of action to address the check engine light was related to a technical service bulletin. We should have test driven the vehicle to attempt to complete a drive cycle and verify the repair complete, or if additional diagnosis per the TSB was required (The bulletin goes on to address if the light comes back on). I reviewed the additional recommendations, and some were related to complaints on the repair order (Two oil leaks, one from the upper oil pan and one from a turbo), some were additional recommended maintenance and repairs noted on the multi-point inspection. A few of those items were expensive repairs, but they were quoted properly.       Ultimately, based on my findings I understand how we ended up here, and it's because we did not do a good job and we lost your trust. When we perform poorly, the best thing we can do is admit we performed poorly and reset. Obviously, we did not do that. I can assure you we were not trying to be deceptive, as everyone that works for me knows, I do not accept that kind of behavior. If there is a way that we can start over, and I can try and provide the level of service I expect, I would appreciate the opportunity. Please let me know your thoughts, and thank you for taking the time to speak with me.
