Started off as a Volvo Technician in 2004. In 2005 I joined the Paul’s Volvo Sales team as a Master Salesperson till August 2019. Joined Smythe Volvo in September 2019. My 14 years of Sales Experience have taught me to listen more to the customers’ needs and then answer these needs directly. As a product of Dale Carnegie training, winning friends & influencing people is a core concept of my Sales process. Understanding my customer’s point of view helps me to answer their vehicle needs/wants effectively.

Smythe Volvo in Summit, NJ is superb!!! Alon Katende- our Salesperson, and Shaun Hayes- our Business Manager, were an absolute joy to work with because they are professional, knowledgeable, Alon Katende- our Salesperson, and Shaun Hayes- our Business Manager, were an absolute joy to work with because they are professional, knowledgeable, efficient and engaging. We came to the dealership with an interest in the XC40, and while there we developed a thorough understanding of the its impressive features and advantages. We decided that the XC40 was the car for us and left with a deal that Alon and Shaun helped to meet our budget. While in NJ, we’ve purchased cars from other domestic and foreign car dealers, and in our experience and opinion, Smythe Volvo is the very best and we give them our topmost rating. More

Excellent Experience I was looking for a Certified Pre-Owned S60 and hoping an S90 would be a viable option within my budget. I had no intentions of buying a car when I ar I was looking for a Certified Pre-Owned S60 and hoping an S90 would be a viable option within my budget. I had no intentions of buying a car when I arrived at the dealer. My goal was to simply kick the tires and take a test drive. I drove a 2018 S90 home 48 hours later. Alon was a great salesman, no pressure even though he knew I had no intentions of buying that day. He was very knowledgeable, patient, answered all my questions and demonstrated all the features of the car. Kevin, the Business Manager, was equally good when it came down to all the detailed paperwork. A great experience all around. More

Fabulous experience with the dealership personnel Alon, our salesperson, made our buying experience very pleasant during our recent purchase on an XC40.
