For over a decade, I've worked in the furniture industry, designing interiors and making countless customers' dreams come true. Today, I bring the same dedication and eye for detail to the automotive world. I'm committed to helping shoppers find the right vehicle at the right price. I'm lucky to call Vergennes home, with a peaceful retreat in Swanton where I love to fish on Lake Champlain. I grew up in Burlington and I'm a proud outdoor enthusiast, frequently exploring Vermont's class 4 roads in my trusty Toyota Tacoma. When I'm not helping you find your perfect car, I'm usually enjoying the great outdoors with my wonderful wife, Sarah, and our two Mini-Ausie dogs, Pippa and Ralphie. Adam was absolutely awesome to work with while purchasing our new 2024 Tacoma. He was super knowledgable about the vehicle and easy to work with when it came to putting together the deal. Working with Adam Safford was amazing. I knew what I was looking for and he had it available. I looked at it and within a week I had my new car. I've had horrible experiences in the past s I knew what I was looking for and he had it available. I looked at it and within a week I had my new car. I've had horrible experiences in the past so I was hesitant to do it again, but I really needed a vehicle. Adam made the process so simple and informative. It felt like my buddy was selling me a car. He answered all my questions, I felt completely informed about the car I was buying. At the time I had a rental and he was able to help me return with no problem. Hands down, best car buying expensive in my life! More

Adam Stafford and the Heritage Toyota team define professionalism and exceptional customer care. Adam did a great job helping to negotiate the price and deliver the car. I was running a tad late and he stayed later than usual and lined up the financing and sales work through electronic Docusign. I was in and out under 30 mins and negotiated the Costco price online!!! They are longstanding members of the Costco Auto program, and did not bail out for more profits during the pandemic when they could have sold their vehicles at 4-6K markups over MSRP. Instead they have chosen to create value with their customers by offering a fair price and trusting that generations of Toyota buyers will come back for additional vehicles and service. My family and I travelled almost 1000 miles round trip to honor the Heritage Auto group family in VT from NJ because of their great values and ethics. Maybe someday I will combine a ski trip with another Toyota RAV4 purchase! More
