My wife had a remote start installed in the car a week later, once home with it we went to manufacturers site to use the software for our smart phones and have to input the modules serial number to make it active, she asked the service department 2 times to get it from the unit and didn't do it. Service said, we didn't need it for warranty, being in the electronic RMA industry, you do need it, especially for linking the security of the remote system. Hope to get this resolved soon.
