Excellent execution of service agreement I bought my Mustang new from Marlborough Ford, but for a variety of reasons I have found North Star Ford the superior location for me to have my vehic I bought my Mustang new from Marlborough Ford, but for a variety of reasons I have found North Star Ford the superior location for me to have my vehicle serviced. But the primary overiding reason for going there is the people. Fiona has been my primary contact over the years and has provided me with great advice, been up front informing me of additional cost if required, kept me informed of progress, and minor repairs required. Rob has always been available and welcoming from my first visit. The overall experience is that they cared about my needs, my vehicles need, and the company they work for. During the situation with the fires in Fort MacMurray, North Star has been a focus for relief efforts. I sensed the geuine concern for their fellow employees caught up in this disaster. Commendable and to be honest, very touching to see the compassion. More

Excellent Service Experience When I showed up Fiona was quick to get me processed and Brian the service manager was on top of everything. When he released the shuttle truck was still 45 minutes out with 4 customers waiting he took action, used his truck and recruited a driver and had us on our way. This is actually my normal experience of a team who go well beyond what could be called normal to ensure your in and out quickly and your vehicle is ready on time. More

They brought the vehicle into the shop the next day and explored every possible cause so they were able to assure me everything was fine. I appreciate their patience and their willingness to go above and beyond. More

Amazing staff. The servic manager Rob was awesome. So long story. Got left hanging by Maclan Ford over a leaky tire. Called in to Sam and she said, come in and we will top up your flat tire. While I was waiting inline Rob came over and started talking and being friendly. He was so engaged in his business it was unbelievable. Once I was in and he saw I had a baby seat in my car, he stated"we can't have this guy driving around with his kids and a leaky tire". I was like WOW. He spoke with Scott and found out if they had any cancellation and to figure out a way to squeeze me in. This was all on my lunch break. He wouldn't let me leave till the tire was fixed and ensured I'd be back at work on time. I got to my store in nick of time as our xxx systems had just crashed on a busy weekend and we had abut 300 cx in the store. Thanks Samantha for getting me in for a top up, Scott for squeezing me in, and most importantly Rob, for engaging your customers, for taking the time to care for my family, and for being a fantastic leader!!!! It clearly shows when a true leader cares about what they do. Rob is a ideal leader in today's workforce. More

Damage to car form just an oil change I had a simple oil change completed and returned to my car having damage on both sides of the side skirts. Apparently they had a couple stations that I had a simple oil change completed and returned to my car having damage on both sides of the side skirts. Apparently they had a couple stations that would jack up my car and damage it, but failed to notice and use the proper equipment. The film protection on the car was punctured and ripped, and the paint and metal underneath sheered off. I was told nothing of the fact when the car was returned to me, and noticed it only when washing my car afterwards. I feel bad that I have to put the service people's name down here since they were relatively friendly and seemed helpful in getting all the paperwork done, but someones name had to be put down, and I wasn't told who worked on my car. UPDATE: After sending an email to North Star and creating this email I was contacted by the service department and asked to go in to look over the damaged to my car. They ended up taking the days to fix the side skirts and reapply the film protection. I was told that my car required a ramp and couldn't use the normal jacks when servicing, and apparently the person who was working on my vehicle has left. It was nice of North Star to own up to the mistake and fix the problem, but the added inconvenience of losing my car for three days was quite frustration, and failing to report the damages to my car originally has left my trust in future visits shaky. More
