Hello My name is Rick Angel and I have been in the automotive industry Since 2007 when I moved from Missouri to Kansas. I spent the first 15 years in parts and was wanting a new challenge so moved to collision center. In my free time I enjoy a wide variety of activities ranging from video games to most outdoor actives.

Mr. Baer, The $2,260.81 we are asking for is simply the first $2,260.81 check that you personally cashed. This check came from the insurance company and should have been applied to the repair in our shop. We even have the legal “Direction to Pay” document that you signed agreeing to pay us the $2,260.81. You have admitted to this fact saying that you had already spent the money and were even working on a payment plan with our company before changing your initial 5 Star review on DealerRater to this 1 Star negative review. (You were clearly happy with the work!) The fact you were working on a payment plan with our staff, which we have in writing, validates that you knew you owed the money. If you are under the impression that the insurance company would pay us the full amount of the authorized repair plus send you a check for $2,260.81 then you are clearly mistaken. We did the repairs in good faith and for the exact amount authorized by the insurance company and look forward to quick settlement of this matter. Thank you, The Staff at Holm Automotive Center

Then explain the jump from the original quote of $5k to $7500 , then up to $10k????? This xx about “ we seen more stuff that needed done” is complete xx! #1 You did not do your job with the initial estimate ( which means you’re idiots and do not know how to do an estimate) #2 Because it was an insurance job AFTER YOU HAD TRUCK IN YOUR SHOP AND STARTED WORK you just kept raising the bill! I have a receipt that says PAID IN FULL 0 DUE that was handed to me by Chuck. I even double check to make sure nothing was do! So someone is incompetent and didn’t do there job correctly now trying to bill me for their mistake! I went to auto body school, I know what the job on my truck intelled, and the work that you guys did IS NOT a $10k show car paint job. Keep going… this is just the beginning. Already contacted the BBB, have made several other reviews, and will gladly see you in court! I HIGHLY recommend not doing business at HOLM AUTOMOTIVE! I NEVER AGREED to any written payment plan! Now you’re just lying!!! I was fine with the work until you started wanting more money 2 WEEKS after I had my truck! Also it took 5weeks longer than quoted. And as for “clearly “ being happy with the work, yes I was happy with a $5k paint job for the quality you guys provided- I WAS NOT, AND AM NOT HAPPY with a $5k job that was billed out at $10k!!! Has Chuck ever even been to body school??? Or was he just transferred to that department?? I’ve grown up around cars that most of you have no idea what it even involves to be a $100k+ show car. A $10k or more is paint job is part of what it. Which IS NOT what you provided on my truck
