Service Issue I purchased a brand new Ford Edge in 2014 from Capital, took it exclusively to Capital for all the regular maintenance and servicing. The 3 days after I purchased a brand new Ford Edge in 2014 from Capital, took it exclusively to Capital for all the regular maintenance and servicing. The 3 days after the 3 year warranty expired we brought the vehicle in because it was making a odd sound in the back, we were told it was because the roters were rusted and the brake pad were close to needing to be replaced. As a result it damaged the right rear Calper. I understand that regular maintenance is required but when I bring my vehicle in for the regular maintenance and servicing I expect it to be done and unfortunately that was not the case with Capital. The last 2 times I brought it in it was discovered they did not check much of anything which resulted in the damage if the vehicle. I was trusting them to tell me when things needed to be done and unfortunately they failed to do this when I was paying them to service the vehicle. Now they want to charge me for everything because I’m 3 days over the warranty. Just another example of why the car industry has such a poor reputation and why people like me have no faith or trust in them to do the right thing. More
