Trade in Scam last minute Mano K and Chris Ball Loan of vehicle and trade in application Loan Arranger Finance people versus Sales reps. November 2015 The writer purchased a vehicle from the Loan Loan of vehicle and trade in application Loan Arranger Finance people versus Sales reps. November 2015 The writer purchased a vehicle from the Loan Arranger in late 2014 using very little income verification with bad credit. The vehicle was a 7,000$ value 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The total loan value was 10,000$. 1,000$ was put down as a deposit. The regular payment was 344.18$ on the 15th of every month. The car was sold by John Lorifice. The Sales Rep said to come back in a year to get a newer vehicle. After one year, I drove back to the Loan Arranger and learned Sales Rep John had left the company. I saw a sales rep from the year before and talked to him. His name was Mano K. We started talking about returning the vehicle. He stated that I could return the vehicle no problem no cost and get a newer model. Mano requested that the deal close this week. I stated that was too soon as I am a low income earner in the 30,000 to 35,000 range with large outstanding debts of Fro, Student Loan and various private unresolved R1 debts. Mano requested deposit for new vehicle of 1,500, I said that I would have to wait at least a month to get the money, over the course of a month and a little more time I sent Mano 1,000$ deposit funds towards the new vehicle. Mano repeatedly stated that he would not be charging me to return the car back so long as it was attached to the new purchase. When I was ready to get my newer model 2009 Journey, Black on Black tints with RT model version at 176,000 km with brand new all season tires. The company stepped in and started talking about “buying” back the vehicle at 4,000$. This information was relayed by Emily over the phone. The conversation started with Emily snapping into the call “You don’t like your buyback”. At this point was the first time I heard the word buyback. By this point I had paid 1,000$ deposit, 11 months of payments at 344.18$ for 3,785.98 for close to or over 5,000 of the vehicle total purchase price. The 2005 Pacifica vehicle sold to me originally had issues of the following: rear Left window not working, Needed tire sensor which took 3 visits to get fixed by writer to third party installer, large dent on front right of quarter panel, broken DVD changer that grinded endlessly, not working DVD screen in the back. The 2005 Pacifica is a 10 year old vehicle and is now facing normal wear and tear issues that will cause the writer to spend money to fix that was planned on not being spent due to the trade in deal made with Mano. The current vehicle had visible issues without a check of the engine or drivetrain such as: rear gas cap was broken and caused paint damage to vehicle panel, front top dash glasses holder not popping up and the trunk would not open. The writer did not spend a lot of time looking at the vehicle interior. The writer was not given a chance to have the engine checked. The writer is seeking his deposit back minus November payment of 344.18$. For a refund cheque of 655.82$. The writer is asking for the November payment to be withdrawn because the writer’s bank account was not planned for a car payment due to putting the deposit down and expecting to drive a new vehicle. The upcoming winter season means the writer has to winterize a older vehicle at his own cost. The writer is looking to leave Loan Arranger due to above mentioned and the below following: November 10th phone call with Manager “Chris”, Transferred from Mano, (similar to Emily), “Hello, we need 2,500 from you”. “For What”. “ to pay back the old vehicle.” “ What amount goes to the new vehicle”. “ Like 500$”. “ I don’t have that cash now, can you roll it into a new one” “Nope, pay us 2,500” “well, I cant get that cash” “too bad”. “Bye”. The finance people at Loan Arranger have been extremely rude and forcing me to WANT to leave them as a reputable used car dealer. The lack of attempting to put the alleged 2,000$ owed into a debt payable is disturbing after negotiating with the Sales rep for over one month. The lack of customer service skills by the Finance and Managers is a cause to leave the Loan Arranger. While I get that many people need good used car dealers due to credit circumstances. I feel the Loan Arranger has been unfair to me and is leaving in the upcoming winter season with an aging vehicle that they want to profit of instead of working with the customer like I have worked with them. I am writing this letter today to post Online, Fax to the Loan Arranger and submit to the BBB because now I am cornered due to the Sales Rep’s “lies” about a buyback, the Finance people’s rudeness and lack of care to deal with the “buyback” and the overall position I have been left in due to these circumstances overall. Please think twice about the trustworthy label put onto the Loan Arranger. Not all the “good” reviews online are true. I am considering litigation to enforce the Sales Reps insistence of no buy back since that is the entire reason I worked for over a month to pay the Loan Arranger my extra free cash. The waste of my time with the playing of my life by the Sales rep and the finance department is disturbing. More

Beware of this dealership.... Just there to loot people Beware... Think hundred times about other options before you think of buying a car or truck from this dealership. I am giving this rating as there is Beware... Think hundred times about other options before you think of buying a car or truck from this dealership. I am giving this rating as there is no option of giving zero stars. I had a horrifying experience with this dealership. In July of this year, I went there to buy an used car as I was badly in need of one for commuting to my work place. As I was a new immigrant to Canada, I was not having a credit score in Canada and I disclosed the same to the salesperson (Mano) there. He showed me some cars and at last we finalised on a 2003 Jeep Liberty (140000 KM) for which I was quoted $7500.00. As soon as I told OK to this (even though I knew the price was high compared to market pricing), the sales person asked me to pay $100.00 as an advance to book the vehicle in my name and took a credit card payment from me. He then went to get my payment plan and when he came back, to my rude surprise, the vehicle cost was increased to $ 10750.00 + taxes. When I enquired about why the price was changed by around $ 3250.00, he told me that there was an internal confusion and the actual price of the vehicle is $ 10750.00 + taxes and not $ 7500.00. As the price was not within my budget, I decided not to go ahead with the vehicle and I left the dealership. Later, I got a good deal from another dealer and bought my vehicle. So I requested Mano to issue me the refund for the advance amount of $ 100.00 in July last week. After lot of visits to the dealership (to be exact 6 times), I finally got the refund check for $ 80.00. It seems $ 20.00 was deducted as fees for checking the credit. I asked him why you need to check my credit when I myself had disclosed that I do not have a credit history in Canada and they were offering me a loan at 29%. I also told that I would not have paid the $ 100.00 if he had told me that the price of that vehicle is $ 10750 + taxes. So in effect, I paid $20.00 to see 4 cars parked in their yard. I went to this dealership seeing all the good reviews regarding them about their price and other things. But, per my experience with them, I see that their prices is at least 3000 - 4000 dollars higher than the market pricing. As a result, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone as they are just after the money and is looting people who visits them. More
