Not nearly as professional as other dealers I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what shoul I knew what was needed, I asked for the parts to be ordered and I made an appointment. I was there waiting for over an hour and a half for what should have been a half hour job. That to me is very poor service. Everyone I spoke to was very nice but seriously lacked professionalism. Vehicles are very expensive to purchase and maintain and one would like to feel that the sales and service people involved are serious about their business. To put in time, I asked a sales person some questions about a new explorer in the shoe room. I wanted to know how the roof rack functioned because there is no evident means to tie things down to it. He said that he didn't know and that I should ask the parts department. I asked them in parts, they looked up the add-ons but also didn't know how they worked. I asked the sales person what colour that particular vehicle was. He didn't know. I asked how to stow the rear seats. I had been able to get one down but not the other. He couldn't make them function and said that the battery must be dead. However the lights were on in the cabin. He asked me what I drove presently and I replied "an MKT. He asked if I were thinking of "upgrading" to an explorer? Really? that is considered an "upgrade" He didn't seem to know what an MKT was although he said that he drove an MKX. He thought that it was an MKC (Escape for those that didn't know.) Instead of wandering around chatting with other staff, time might be better spent memorizing spec sheets and at least keeping batteries charge and knowing information regarding display models in the showroom. I seriously felt as a 60 something woman I knew more about cars than the sales people. Maybe some "lunch and learns" would be helpful. More

An issue arose when a critical component wa I want to thank Northstar Ford Services Department for their utmost professionalism that they afforded me. An issue arose when a critical component was not covered under my warranty but was told it was covered verbally. It’s refreshing to know that Northstar values integrity. Often dealerships get a bad name for not owning their mistakes and making the customer suffer for said mistakes. I would recommend anyone utilize your services in the future based on this and the pleasantness in dealing with staff. Furthermore my servicing was done in a timely manner and was extremely accommodating. Thank you! More

Vehicle damaged - again The time needed to have my windshield replaced (by warranty) was quite quick and the service advisors I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. This is the only reason that this is a 1 star rating. However, I have to say that I'm incredibly disappointed in the shape my car was in when I picked it up. This is the second time that I've had a vehicle experience "lot damage" while in the care of NorthStar. There was very visible door damage on my front passenger door. This is something I would have expected that someone would have made note of when the car was "washed". On top of that, the car had massive dirt streaks over the hood and windows. Incredibly disappointed. I did let the person who was at the pick-up window know. She offered to have a supervisor come talk to me but I did not have the time to wait. She said that she would have someone call me....and I still haven't heard anything. To be honest, with how incredibly difficult it was to have this dealership repair damage done to my mustang in the last instance, I don't want to suffer through another bout of recrimination about how the dealership is not responsible for "lot damage" and how I can't prove that it happened while in their care. More

Fast, friendly, & efficient I always enjoy my visits to NorthStar Ford. The last few times I have been in for service, including the most recent, I have had the pleasure of deali I always enjoy my visits to NorthStar Ford. The last few times I have been in for service, including the most recent, I have had the pleasure of dealing with Liane. Liane is super friendly and efficient. She always explains the service and answers any questions I might have. Liane calls me promptly when the service is complete and lets me know how things went and when I can pick up my vehicle. Also, the service on Tuesday November 28 - I was greeted outside the service bay doors by a young lady who quickly processed me and took my vehicle from that point instead of having me wait until space cleared on the inside of the garage. I didn't catch her name, dark hair, ponytail I think - she was also very friendly and accommodating. More

Ford repaired it for free as it is under warranty. But nobody expects one year old truck need fix. It caused a lot inconvenience for my work and life. Before this I was thinking about get Ford Escape, now no more Ford car. More

We are still waiting for a call back from the body shop about the paint that is peeling off our bumper. We brought the truck in for this problem 3 times now. No one calls back. The latest one is the 4x4 service light. We had them take the vehicle for a WHOLE DAY to diagnose the problem. Another day to do the work, and still the check 4x4 light is on when I picked up the vehicle. So we have to bring in our truck again for who knows how long? More
