Northstar service commits to producing results My 2017 Escape has been in to Northstar several times now to try and fix an ongoing, but intermittent issue where the rear tail light would sometimes My 2017 Escape has been in to Northstar several times now to try and fix an ongoing, but intermittent issue where the rear tail light would sometimes work, sometimes not. Because the issue is intermittent, I understand it is very difficult to diagnose and fix. Regardless, it is still very frustrating to return to the dealer time and time again for the same issue. I must admit I was starting to lose some confidence in the product. Although friendly personnel go a long way, a service department needs to be results driven. Northstar understands this. Throughout all of this, Liane has been adamant that the issue must, and will be fixed. I am very pleased that Northstar never once gave up on it. Liane and her colleagues seemed just as frustrated as myself, and showed strong commitment to producing results. As their customer, Northstar also made sure I was kept in the loop with all of the different fixes attempted, and they even made the experience a little less inconvenient by renting me a replacement car for my last visit of almost 1 week (very much appreciated). I also can't say enough how much I appreciate the efforts of the service technicians, especially as they were spending hours on the phone with Ford technical support trying to fix this. Overall, I am still waiting to find out if the issue is fixed (it will take some time because it is an intermittent issue), but I am glad I have Northstar's full support. Thank you More

Service & Warranty Work Overall, great service - friendly and helpful. Two downsides, my vehicle was with workshop for 13 days and one of the recalls was still not completed. Regular. Maintenance Phoned Wednesday to make an appointment and was able to get in Thursday am. Arrived 9 am and was taken care of right away. More repairs after simple repairs and poor customer service Took my Ford Escape in for a check engine light and tire pressure sensor light that comes on periodically. Was told we needed a tune up and we also di Took my Ford Escape in for a check engine light and tire pressure sensor light that comes on periodically. Was told we needed a tune up and we also did a detailing as we were selling the vehicle to our son. $1800 later and a few days later the instrument cluster stopped working. We were told this had to be replaced and another $736 later it was done. We did not even leave the dealership and the remote car starter did not work. It had worked that morning to start the car. Another trip back to North Star Ford and we were told the control module for the remote car started was not working and they refused to fix this unless we wanted to pay for it. Rob Meade the service director took no reponsibility for any of these obvious repairs and the fact that all this happened after the work was done. Unfortunately none of this can be proved but it seems rather strange that a simple repair has caused all the other problems. We no longer have a remote car starter and very costly repairs. I would like to add that we had just purchased a 2017 Ford Edge from this dealership. More

Collision repair and tire change I recently took my new 2017 Ford Fusion in for collision repair. It took longer by quite a few days than expected, but the damage was worse than expe I recently took my new 2017 Ford Fusion in for collision repair. It took longer by quite a few days than expected, but the damage was worse than expected. The communication surrounding this was not excellent. The only way I knew what was happening was because I called. I was not contacted even one time. After the collision repair I was charged $25 to change my tires. I have a service package that I purchased from Ford so I was quite surprised by this charge. I asked them to waive this fee due to the package as well as the fact that I had just had autobody work done. I paid the fee. I was not informed during my oil change a month prior that I should change my tires at that point or would be charged. More

Prompt, courteous & speedy service. I was met immediately by a service rep on day of my appointment. She processed the necessary paperwork and then advised me my car had a recall and wo I was met immediately by a service rep on day of my appointment. She processed the necessary paperwork and then advised me my car had a recall and would order the necessary part. I waited in the customer lounge and the service rep came back after a reasonable period of time to tell me my car was ready. She then escorted me to the cashier and went through what had been done to my car, the final price and also informed me they would call me when the recall part arrived so I could schedule an appointment. Very courteous and professional. More
