Poor customer satisfaction Recently my husband and I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. While Jon Buckley, the salesperson was very eager and helpful it was the rest Recently my husband and I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. While Jon Buckley, the salesperson was very eager and helpful it was the rest of the staff we had negative experience with, although I'm unable to recall names specifically. We bought the truck, and extended warranty. At the last minute they changed the financing over an extra year and never contacted us to notify us. We agreed anyhow. When we got to the truck the salesperson who put on our license plates for us broke the back up camera bracket, but told us it would be fine if we "patched it with electrical tape". The back up camera took us a while to fix and re-align at home, and we had to find our own special parts to be able to re-secure a bracket piece, but we were willing to let that go as accidents happen. We were also told that the seats looked wet because it had been raining that day while they were detailing. The next day we ended up seeing that these weren't water spots but rather armour-all stains on the seats from the detailing. These spots definitely weren't there the day we test drove the truck as both of us are very attentive to those sorts of detail. We didn't want to make a big fuss so did not call about it at the time. Within one week of driving the truck the "change oil" light came on, and the front drivers head light came on. We went back to the dealership asking if there was a possibility of the light being covered under the warranty we purchased, understanding that the vehicle was used but the staff were very annoyed and unfriendly towards us about even asking if the light was covered. I personally have felt with both Ford and Nissan for my own vehicles and have had nothing but positive things to say about both. The staff at both were always willing to go the extra mile to at least try to make customers happy. All that capital dodge kept saying was "well it's a used vehicle". We understand this, but with us purchasing a full extended vehicle warranty and giving capital dodge or business we would have thought they would have been at least willing to meet us halfway, or even apologize for our experience with the stains from the detailing as well as the bracket that they had broke the day we picked it up. It normally wouldn't have been a big deal, but it was the way we were shrugged off like our business didn't matter because, "it's a used vehicle". With the way we were treated by the staff at dodge, and their unsatisfactory customer service I would not recommend this dealership. They really don't give any sort of sense of caring. More

Bought a used 2014 VW Tiguan from this dealership... 1. before deciding to buy the car or not I took it to an independent mechanic; his recommendatio Bought a used 2014 VW Tiguan from this dealership... 1. before deciding to buy the car or not I took it to an independent mechanic; his recommendation was to have the rear right rotor machined; told that to the salesperson who told me they can do it; never happened, they polished a little bit the rotor just to look better; 2. waiting a long time to deal with who ever is supposed to help you in finalizing the transaction, even they have nothing else to do they'll make you wait; 3. detailing was poorly done, maybe nothing was done; I had to clean the car in some areas myself after I took possession of it; 4. sent a message to the president to complain about the lack of respect towards their clients, and never got an answer from him. We are completely satisfied with our purchase, but more importantly was the excellent professional salesmanship we were exposed to during our visits to Capital Dodge. Our sales rep (Jon Buckley) was very knowledgeable and provided us with valuable feedback and advice. His attitude and personality was very welcoming and did not make us feel pressured at any point during our visits to the dealership, by phone or by email. I would thoroughly recommend Capital Dodge, but would emphasize that our experience especially with Jon was what brought us back to Capital Dodge. The Parts Manager (Brian Karnis) was very pleasant and helpful as well. Now in any deal there is always a cloud that hovers over a deal. In this case, the Finance Manager Robert Martin was that cloud. He was not informative, he did not seem to appreciate our business. He did not greet us with a hand shake, nor congratulate us on our purchase. Thinking that it might have been a bad day for him, we gave him the benefit of the doubt, however when we returned a few days later to pick up our car, he had the same demeanour, or actually less of a personality, and again did not get up and shake our hand, nor did he congratulate us again. I explained this to Jon Buckley and told him that if it wasn't for his own professionalism and personality, that I would have got up right then and there and squashed the deal. Robert Martin needs some interpersonal skill management, as he did not make us feel welcome one bit. More

Customer Loyalty In 2006 I purchased a 2002 dodge grand caravan at Capital Dodge and I was very pleased because not only did I get great service through Jon Buckley at In 2006 I purchased a 2002 dodge grand caravan at Capital Dodge and I was very pleased because not only did I get great service through Jon Buckley at the time but I also found the right vehicle for me in terms of mileage, year and price. Several months ago I started looking to replace my van with possibly an SUV or another van....I looked around for a while and was getting frustrated due to expensive SUV prices or Vans that were in rough shape for the price. I ended up going back to Capital Dodge and figured I'd better ask first if Jon Buckley was still working there and sure enough he was......Not sure if many customers are as loyal as me but when you have good previous experience it probably is common. Anyway within a couple of days Jon had sold me another van because again Capital Dodge had what I was looking for. Great job guys!! More

After visiting the other places I was not too impressed with their service. It was the friendliness that truly made this experience looking for my first car exceptional plus the additional help I got after I had purchased the car from Jon whether it be any questions I had or what not.They had exactly what I was looking for plus all the add-ons I could ask for! I am so pleased with the service I received from Jon he truly made my experience awesome and he was so helpful! Loving my Jeep! Don't forget to Wrangler Wave! More

Pleasant new car purchase I was searching for a base model Jeep Wrangler 2-door with a/c and the six-speed manual transmission. I did a quick survey on the "build your Jeep" we I was searching for a base model Jeep Wrangler 2-door with a/c and the six-speed manual transmission. I did a quick survey on the "build your Jeep" website and noticed that there was on at the local dealership, and a couple of others further away. I visited the closest Jeep dealership, their last new one was just recently converted to a used one as a service loaner, and they proceeded to tell me it was too late in the year to find one. They didn't offer to attempt to do a dealer trade or look up in their "system". I emailed Jon Buckley at Capital Dodge requesting more information about their new in-stock units. He proceeded to send me current pictures of their in-stock unit that I was interested in. Negotiations were carried out via email in a no-hassle format. I showed up at the dealership, the vehicle was as-described via the emails, there were no "surprise gotcha!" add-on fees, the papers were signed, all in a no-hassle process. Jon even suggested to sell my car privately as I would be able to get more than via trade-in (he was correct). I would definitely purchase another new vehicle from Jon Buckley at Capital Dodge. More

We have dealt with Dodge with dealerships across the country... after having switched from another American vehicle company because of the dreadful service we received... Dodge has always been great.
