They were ready to take my car in at the appointed time, friendly staff gave me a realistic finish time, with acknowledgement that they were extremely busy. I was offered a shuttle ride. Got a text message that my service was completed a few minutes sooner that the time guesimate given. My paperwork and vehicle pick up was quick and easy. These folks never disappoint. We'll done! I was very shocked by the cost of work done on our Atlas. Charged for each job but not based on shop time. Very expensive so be careful when you have work done at GP Volkswagen. They really hose you. I am very disappointed with my recent service experience. I originally brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, at which time the dealership recommended replacing the struts. I authorized the work, bu I originally brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change, at which time the dealership recommended replacing the struts. I authorized the work, but immediately after picking up my car I noticed a new popping noise from the suspension — an issue that wasn’t present before. This began a long chain of problems: • The car had to be returned multiple times. • The dealership damaged my brake line during a repair. • The CV axle was also damaged in the process, and instead of being replaced with a Volkswagen OEM part, the dealership installed a budget aftermarket part (NAPA) without informing me. • That part later failed, requiring the foreman to step in and finally replace it with a proper OEM part. • Ultimately, I was without my car for an extended period, relying on loaners, while issues caused by the shop were corrected. While the service advisors communicated politely and the dealership covered the repair costs, the quality of workmanship, lack of proper inspection before releasing the vehicle, and the decision to install non-OEM parts without my knowledge or consent are unacceptable — especially from a Volkswagen dealership. At the end of this process, I expressed my desire to discuss the situation with the General Manager. I was told I would receive a call, but I have yet to hear from them. This lack of follow-through has further eroded my confidence in this dealership’s accountability. I have always brought my vehicle here for service and would prefer to continue doing so, but this experience has caused me to lose confidence in the shop’s standards and oversight. I hope Volkswagen Canada reviews this situation carefully, as customers should be able to trust that their vehicle will be repaired correctly with genuine parts the first time. More

An amazing experience, I originally purchased a Tiguan from the dealership when I decided that I wanted something larger and upgraded to the Atlas it was very easy. Horrible service side management, I had Grand Prairie Volkswagen diagnose a problem with my car. The quote for the work and labor and parts was too high. Which I then opted to take it to a performance shop. I asked ahead of time for them to place the car in a convenient area for me to load it onto a trailer. When I arrived with my pickup truck and trailer to tow the car It was shoved in the back corner of the lot in a very tight area and I had to move the car by hand into a different area in order to even get close enough to get it on the trailer. More
