Kept Appointment time and diagnosed and fixed problem. Dealer employees have been helpful and courteous. Like that I come away with a clean auto. Some of the worst pre-repair service I have ever received at any dealership. Called ahead for a factory recall and was told I would get a loaner. Showed up on time and waited an hour and a half for the loan at any dealership. Called ahead for a factory recall and was told I would get a loaner. Always Good Service I have been to many service departments throughout my lifetime with all types of cars. Every time I bring it to BMW Sarasota they greet me by name, l I have been to many service departments throughout my lifetime with all types of cars. Every time I bring it to BMW Sarasota they greet me by name, listen to what I have to say is wrong with my car. Mine was simple, just a routine maintenance and oil change and check the tires. Derek Thomas, the service person, kept me informed of all the updates and any issues on the car. The mechanic checking out my car even sent me a video of my car with the good and needs attention items. The car needed new tires. Derek called me and gave me my options on selection and price. The car was ready later in the day and it rides so smooth now!! Always great advice and service at BMW Sarasota and the great service person, Derek Thomas!!! Thanks BMW! P.S. The fresh baked cookies and coffee helps the wait time! More

Car knowledge fine; waiting area less so. Derek Thomas was helpful getting the problem with my car resolved to my satisfaction. My complaint has to do with the waiting area. It's nice that y Derek Thomas was helpful getting the problem with my car resolved to my satisfaction. My complaint has to do with the waiting area. It's nice that you provide snacks and drinks. However, the blaring TV made the waiting area unpleasant. Although I originally had planned to wait, I found it so annoying I opted not to wait for a diagnosis about my car but instead requested a loaner vehicle immediately. I suggest the compensation by the dealership to Hertz for loaner vehicles is a cost that should be taken into account in how the service department is managed. I doubt I am the only person who would prefer either silence or quiet background music to the inane blather of a TV show in your waiting area. More
