We have bought 2 kia cars from Harris Kia- in 2011- a Kia Forte 5 and in 2012 a Sorrento 4 cyl- we dealt in sales with Roy and Grant - subsequently we thought the Forte was using too much gas so Dave Bare, t Forte 5 and in 2012 a Sorrento 4 cyl- we dealt in sales with Roy and Grant - subsequently we thought the Forte was using too much gas so Dave Bare, the General Manager took it upon himself to work with me to ensure it was meeting standards- I was amazes- almost to the exact published standards- what dedication. The Service Personnel are great and have met our needs to 100% expectations. A person worth mentioning as a qualified knowledgeable person is the parts person, Teri, who has a real ability to spec excellent tires- both our vehicles have new snow tires and Teri picked them right on- what a huge difference in stability as we move back and forth from Parksville to Nanaimo and back almost every day. Teri's partner at the parts desk is also extremely helpful. Our experience at Harris Kia was A+ from the minute we drove into the lot and looked at the vehicles outside until we took a Kia Optima Hybrid for a test drive. Our first Kia was a Spectra 5 that we bought in 2007 and we have been happy Kia customers ever since then. After our family started growing, we were thinking about buying a bigger car. We had a look at a Ki we have been happy Kia customers ever since then. After our family started growing, we were thinking about buying a bigger car. We had a look at a Kia Rondo in January 2012, but the timing wasn't quite right for us back then. After taking our Spectra in for a service in October of 2012, Christine drove us home and on the drive told us about the great deals on Rondos that were available. So, one weekend we dropped by the dealership and noticed that they had a similar Rondo in stock than the one we had looked at in January. Christine took us for a test drive and answered all of our questions. This time around everything came together and we decided to buy the Rondo. Christine went out of her way to help us, going so far as playing with our two year old toddler and keeping him occupied while we were dealing with the paperwork. RJ handled the financial details and they both stayed an hour after closing time to make sure we were settled in our new Kia. An unfortunate mistake did happen in the financing department, but Dave Bare and Randy Heller made sure that we were more than compensated for this mistake. Dave also made sure to tell us that measures have been put in place to ensure that it never happens again to anybody. I can honestly say that the folks at Harris Kia do value their customers and they proved this to us in a number of different ways. Thank you Harris Kia, we will be back! More

I bought my first Kia Rio 5 in Feb. 2010 at Harris Kia from Dave Bare. I loved that car so much. All of my experiences at Harris Kia were great. All of the staff were friendly including the Service Dept. from Dave Bare. I loved that car so much. All of my experiences at Harris Kia were great. All of the staff were friendly including the Service Dept. Unfortunately my car had an accident in a parking lot. I was in need of another car. Once again I came back to Harris Kia as my first choice in looking for a car.We met Dave Bare again and he introduced us to Randy Hellerand and Chad Stewart.Chad took us for a test drive in a Kia Spectra 5 and I loved the car.Chad is such a nice guy and very personable. Randy Heller did all the negotiations and he was great to work with as well.Chad followed up in getting me an extra key for the car and was in touch with me as to when I would be receiving it. I felt well taken care of in every way in buying my 2009 Kia Spectra 5.The car was spotlessly clean inside and out and they cleaned it all for me making me feel like I was driving out in a brand new car. I just can't say enough about the positive experience that I had purchasing a new Optima SX from Harris Kia in Nanaimo. I decided to reach out through the internet to Harris Kia, to inquire about one th that I had purchasing a new Optima SX from Harris Kia in Nanaimo. I decided to reach out through the internet to Harris Kia, to inquire about one that they had at their dealership. I was quickly contacted through email and phone by Randy Heller (Sales Manager). Randy was polite, professional, and within about 15 minutes on the phone, we had come to an agreement. This was amazing, as I had just gone through a terrible experience with another dealer who had given me the run around on a similar car! As I live in the lower mainland, we decided to do all the paperwork over the phone in order to save time when I came over to the island, and thus he put me in contact with Jeremy Allen (Financial Services Manager) who once again was polite, professional, and handled this part of the business in a quick and efficient manner. I made the choice to fly to Nanaimo 2 days later, and when I called Randy to let him know, he indicated that he would arrange for Rachel Roy to pick me and bring me to the dealership to run me through the car. As promised Rachel was there waiting for me and the the trend of dealing with a polite and professional person continued. During the drive we had time to discuss how long she had worked at the dealership and how much she enjoyed it, which may be the reason that everyone is so good. When we arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Dave Bare (General Manager who had personally just been shining up my car for the delivery), Roy Berentsen, and Mike House (Service Manager). Randy was off, but being the professional he is, came in to say hi, and stayed around for a bit to make sure that everything was going smooth for me, as I had to come in from out of town. Rachel was fantastic and took me through the car, all the features, the welcome package, and overall was the best sales person I have ever dealt with in all my car buying years! Highly recommend dealing with Rachel if you have the chance. Jeremy and I met to sign all the appropriate paperwork and go through the details of the financial agreement. Great person who has a great personality, is very good at his job. never pushy, and makes you feel very comfortable. Again, I really have to recommend dealing with Harris Kia, as the experience was incredibly positive! The Kia dealers in the lower mainland should be careful, as I am positive that Harris Kia's reputation will get out to other consumers looking for great customer service, and not getting it at other dealers. Kia should be thrilled to have Harris Kia as one of their dealers, and Tom Harris should be proud of the staff he employs, and the superior customer service that they provide.
