2015 CRV Darrin was great - he was very knowledgeable and not the typical "pushy car salesman". New Car I was looking for a more fuel efficient car which lead me to Honda. After browsing online and visiting a few dealerships, I contacted Darrin and in n I was looking for a more fuel efficient car which lead me to Honda. After browsing online and visiting a few dealerships, I contacted Darrin and in no time, I had an appointment to test drive the V6 Accord. After the test drive, my mind was made up. Darrin was upfront, no BS, and we got the paperwork started. After dealing with Darrin, I met with Matt and we went forward with the financial side of things. 2 Days later I picked up my brand new Accord. It's been a month and I'm very happy with my purchase. I will be recommending them to my friends. More

Honda West is and should be “embarrassed” We recently purchased a 2014 Odyssey EX from Honda West. The actual purchase went well; however, it went drastically downhill upon delivery of the v We recently purchased a 2014 Odyssey EX from Honda West. The actual purchase went well; however, it went drastically downhill upon delivery of the van. The van was delivered without the tow package, which Honda West failed to notice. Upon bringing the van back in to have the tow package installed Honda West then damaged the door of the new van. They said they would make it right and admitted to how embarrassing this situation was. We eventually settled on replacing the 2014 van with the purchase of a 2015 Odyssey since 2014’s were no longer being produced. At the scheduled delivery appointment for the 2015 Odyssey it was discovered that the protection package was not installed necessitating leaving the van at Honda West and rescheduling the delivery. At the second delivery appointment for the 2015 Odyssey we discovered that the Remote Engine Starter had not been installed. This, of course, required ANOTHER trip out to their dealership for that installation. After discovering this last oversight by Honda West we were given the impression that they would call to schedule the install. After a week had passed they had not contacted us. We then contacted them and scheduled the install. This entire saga was ridiculous and the dealer should be highly embarrassed. Based on our experience we have no idea why this dealer has a Dealership of the Year Award. Honda West managed to make the new car buying experience a terrible one for us. They say they value their customers’ time. Obviously they do not as we had to make numerous trips to their dealership over two months to finally receive the van we had purchased. This shows a lack of respect for the customer and a high degree of incompetence. A detailed inspection prior to the delivery of either van would have ensured we received the vehicle we had purchased. Perhaps if that had been done at the start we could have avoided this entire mess. We love our Honda vehicles and this dealer lost a lifelong customer. We would not recommend this dealer to anyone for either sales or service. More

Visited for new Honda Civic I visited this dealer to buy a new Honda Civic. According to the salesperson, they had very well priced cars with reduced profit margin and he advised I visited this dealer to buy a new Honda Civic. According to the salesperson, they had very well priced cars with reduced profit margin and he advised me to visit websites like Unhaggle to confirm. I did and based on my research Honda West was asking for the maximum price. So, I offered them an average price or what the "average Joe" pays. The salesman then came back to me with offering a lower trim with the exact quote: "for that kind of money". Note that the price that I offered was not significantly lower than the price tag but the difference between this trim and the lower trim that he offered was $2,300! More

Each time, it's been We've purchased four Honda vehicles from this dealership over the course of almost two decades; a civic, two Elements and a CRV. Each time, it's been a very smooth process. These people know their business and it shows. you'll be in good hands if you go here. In our case, we'd done our homework prior to stepping in the door so we knew the model and trim, and only needed to work on price and accessories. Although passing on several of the options they offered, we did purchase a four product accessory package. In fine tuning that package, they were responsive to our follow up e-mails, which is very much appreciated. The only suggestion I would have is to offer clients the option of going paperless. Before they leave, ask them if they'd prefer the collection of documents from the purchase process be scanned to PDF and emailed along with hyperlinks to the vehicle specific manuals and warranties for the convenience of the customer. In my case, I had to ask for some documents to be recopied as they were of such poor quality I couldn't read them. Although hard copies are likely preferred by most customers and legally required, my guess would be that soft copies are preferred (or at least very much appreciated) by the younger and/or computer literate demographic. It's something to consider. In the big picture, these guys did great. Keep up the good work, and we'll keep buying Hondas! More

Great purchase experience for the third time with Majed We have just recently purchased our third vehicle from Honda West, all three from Majed Larbe. We met him first time in 2006 at the car show, where he offered us a good price for new Accord, we followed this with some e-mail confirmations, payed deposit and on the day of vehicle pick up all was delivered as promised. Three years later in 2009 we repeated this experience with a new Civic, again all dealings were by e-mail and all was delivered as expected to our satisfaction. The third purchase was for the 2014 Accord Sport, we were out of country at that time, but seeing good cash purchase incentives on Honda Canada web site we decided to buy it. We e-mailed Majed and agreed on pricing, a week later we got a surprise e-mail from Majed, he advised us our price dropped down due to an additional Honda Canada incentive. Some two weeks later there was another price drop by Honda Canada, we e-mailed the final, now much reduced price from the original negotiated and Majed confirmed this by e-mail. Overall we payed some $1000 less then originally agreed, thanks to Honda Canada enhanced cash purchase incentives and honest dealings by Majed. After two months of waiting for delivery of our rare Accord Sport manual transmission model we finally took possession and all previous agreements were fully honored and delivered as promised. We consider Majed the most trustworthy and honest car dealer we ever met. We also met Darrin who was helpful in explaining all the features of our 2014 Accord. More
