Our 2014 Tucson had an engine failure, covered under
warranty. Family Hyundai had our vehicle for 3 months, waiting on the replacement engine for the repair. After getting the car back, the AC no longer
warranty. Family Hyundai had our vehicle for 3 months, waiting on the replacement engine for the repair. After getting the car back, the AC no longer worked. I immediately brought the vehicle back because I figured something wasn’t reconnected during the engine repair. Collin in service department insisted that maybe the AC was broke when I brought it in 3 months ago, and tried to charge me over $200 to “evaluate” the AC issue. After I firmly told him I wasn’t going to pay that and I knew for certain the AC was working fine when I originally brought the car in, he went to talk to a manager. Suddenly, they realized the compressor wasn’t plugged in and they fixed the problem in 5 minutes. It really left me feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me to get some extra $. Bad customer service experience.
