Bait and Switch I was originally told that every third oil change would be free. Although I have other dealerships closer to my home, I thought this was a great deal I was originally told that every third oil change would be free. Although I have other dealerships closer to my home, I thought this was a great deal and decide to make this dealership my home for service. On 2/1/19 I stopped in for my third oil change and was greeted with a bill. I explained to the advisor that this was my third oil change and should be free. The advisor explained that customers were giving the wrong information in the past and the third oil change is only free when you purchased the car from Family Hyundai. This seemed like the classic bait and switch. With the acknowledgment that customers had received the wrong information, my third oil change should have been free. The dealership also decided to Replace my license plate cover with a Family Hyundai license plate cover. This is not something I asked for as I could not in good faith advertise or recommend this dealership. More

Missing Pin for Oil Pan Splash Shield My son-in-law noticed a plastic shield under the engine on my G80 hanging down towards the ground. Called Family Hyundai and talked to Colin, a servic My son-in-law noticed a plastic shield under the engine on my G80 hanging down towards the ground. Called Family Hyundai and talked to Colin, a service advisor there. I asked to bring it in the same day and he said that after 3:00 pm would be fine. Got there at 3:30 as planned and was out in 30 minutes. The tech found that a pin was missing for the oil pan splash guard. Pin was replaced and a multi-point inspection was done. All for no charge.Great experience. More
