The service dept at Family Hyundai has forgotten what customer focus is and are operating with bad attitudes over the lack of mechanics, taking it out on the customers. They have no plan for long term supply issues and were very flippant about it. They had my car (not even 2 years old) for 10 weeks awaiting a part they weren't even sure would correct the issue, which had presented 3 times in a 2-month period, with a different "diagnosis" each time. The ONLY person with any professionalism was my service advisor, Colin Simmons, who kept in contact with me, gave me any information he could and seemed to genuinely care about my plight. Yes, I was fortunate to have a loaner vehicle, but I was still making monthly payments on a new car that I could not use and did not require advertising for Hyundai. When the work was finally done, I had to go back twice for a loose screeching belt, which they only considered when I suggested that was the problem. I felt like they just wanted to get me out of there, so did a rush job and didn't complete it, as it seemed they didn't check the work. In addition to inferior care in the Family Hyundai service dept, I placed a call to corporate seeking guidance and assurance my car was not a lemon given the 3 events with conflicting diagnoses occurring in a 2-month time period when I had owned the car for less than 2 years. I was given a case number and assured a case manager would call me within a week. I have yet to receive that call. The entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for Hyundai. (Jaclyn Bobbitt, Sales Professional who originally sold me the car, was also very client-driven and went out of her way to check in with me every time I was at the dealer.) More

The service rep Collin is a liar and had a nasty disposition when called out about putting after markets parts on my vehicle without my permission. He lied and stated he did inform me and later stated he made the executive decision to save me money. He even lied and stated I needed my vehicle back soon and could not wait for Hyundai parts. I have a brand new 2022 Genesis GV70 that was purchased from the same dealership the beginning of November. So there was no rush to get my Santa Fe back and it was a week in service before the it was inspected. I have tried to work with Collin time after time and it is always a problem with him not listening, documenting my concerns to have them corrected and trying to fast talk me. I recently had to replace a light that had a short in the wiring and I complained to Collin for three years or more before the faulty wire melted the harness and light. I have also complained about the short in the license plate bulb for 4 years or more and now they finally recommend to replace the wire after the vehicle is out of warranty. I said I would never purchase another Hyundai but because I fell in love with the Genesis I purchased another vehicle from Hyundai. Collin needs to learn to have better customer service, be mindful of his tone when speaking to a client and be HONEST!! You will not make commission every time someone bring their vehicle into service. Also they didn’t even have the decency to wash my vehicle after spending over $1k in repairs. More

Family Hyundai service dept is AWESOME !!!! They are extremely busy and backlogged but Mike the service manager was able to get my Tucson serviced for me.
